Why aren't my MNS sites ranking?

I launched 2 MNS sites 2 weeks ago. I wrote several articles for each that had a few PR0 and backlink 0 in top 10 comptetitors in google. I ddded them to google webmaster tools and they have been indexed. However, they are not ranking.

any ideas why not? i have done nothing but what i stated above. created them, wrote articles, added to webmaster tools.

should i buy a fiverr social bookmark gig or web 2.0 linkwheel?

yeah but, i read that if there are several PR0 and BL0 in the top 10 and i get exact match domain and write the articles correctly then i should have no problem ranking since no one is targeting those terms.

Im guessing you bought the sites/keywords? They would say that, to make sales!

It can happen sometimes, but most of the time, you need backlinks to get it ranked

Bookmarks are weak links. Web 2.0 articles are fine, but they too reside on PR NA pages. You should do some relevant and high quality manual link building at first. From the sounds of what you are considering, you may do more harm to yourself then good.

yes i did great keyword research. i found KW with 1,000 or more EM local searches with several PR0 and BL0 in top 10 competitors. Each have high advertisers too.

Check back in 2 months. Those puppies will take some time to settle in and do their thing. There is no rank-quick-surefire method. Ranking is a slow and steady business.

Much like a fine wine, those sites will get better with age.

What do you mean they are not ranking....do they not exist or are they just on page 10 ?

How many articles did you write...are they keyword and LSi targeted....keep writing articles...content is the most important factor in getting a new site ranked...They have crawled your site found articles and indexed them if they can keep coming back and finding new stuff to index this is good, particularly with a fresh site.

Dont go buying any fiverr gigs..you may use it for a bit of social bookmarking in the future but the last thing your site needs now is unnatural links

Find relevent high PR blogs and starting dropping in some well thought out comments that get accepted..Even if you only do 2-3 a day after a week you have 20+ niche relevent links.....you dont need 50000 links to rank a site.

Loving handcrafted web 2.0s at the moment....have built 3 so far this evening...1 on tumblr and 2 on bravesites....that Pr7 do follow stuff.

How is your onsite seo....Doesnt have to be architectural perfection but you have to make it presentable to robots and begging for a good crawling.

Wouldnt be stressed after 2 weeks all sites are different but a proper emd put together correctly should be visible by now.

Great! Don't buy bulk amount of social bookmarking as tier 1. You can build strong web 2.0 contextual links for tier 1. Then buy a fiverr gig to do social bookmark tier 1. This method works well in these days. Anyway try to keep diversity of backlinks as much possible.

Dont buy backlinks. and continue to add content. Search some video in youtube related to your niche. Write 200 word article on that and post in your site and embed the video. Google loves video. set a google alert in your niche. everyday check the alerts. If possible go and comment on those blogs or forums. It will take 2-3 months to get ranking. Google do not rank well a new site irrespective of the backlinks and content.

do proper seo keeping google penguin update in mind.Just adding sitemap wont make it rank,sitemap helps you only in getting indexed in search engine
