What other forms of payment can you accept on Flippa, or any other domain marketplace besides PayPal? Just curious.

You can use escrow, credit card, and paypal on flippa.

I plan not to use PayPal or Credit Card on Flippa but Escrow instead.

Is Escrow usually safer and is it chargeback-able? What are the pros and cons of Escrow versus the other alternative forms of payment?

Both the domain and the website are protected as funds are held in Escrow until the buyer accepts the transaction, or the buyer rejects, returns, and the seller accepts the return.

Can anything possibly go wrong with using Escrow besides one party refusing to use it? I'm just trying to think of the worst case scenarios.

There are some loopholes that can be exploited but if you're careful yourself, follow Escrow's instructions to the point (e.g. don't transfer anything until Escrow gives you the green light, etc.) and have an agreement in place with the buyer to avoid any misunderstandings then you can consider yourself safe, as:
a) Escrow doesn't take payments through unsecure payment methods (i.e. those that support the reversing of payments)
b) The buyer won't get anything transferred until the funds are secured.

For me, paypal is still the most trusted mode of payment in the internet that can be used with Flippa. :)

I truly hope that the sites you are buying/selling aren't above $100 each as otherwise you are putting yourself in a very ugly situation.

PayPal is by far the _worst_ payment option for online transactions. Sure, it's convenient to many (only for small transactions, though) but it leaves you EXTREMELY vulnerable for scam attempts (it's ridiculously easy to pay you, have you transfer everything over and then file a dispute and run with both the site and the money), as well as the fact that PayPal are known to constantly give sellers hard time by freezing their funds, applying high rolling reserves etc.

If you care about your money at all then I strongly suggest you to stay as far away from PayPal as possible.

Until the buyer jacks you off, and disputes you. Happened to me with two SEO clients. Same situation.
