Whether you are a youtube services provider or a daily customer, what would YOU class as "real".

I remember a thread mentioning this, but it was offtopic and decided myself to create one. At what point is "real" removed from the equation?

Some people say Vagex provides "real" views when in fact, it gives you an artificial boost through an unethical method, so is it still real if the users watching have no idea what video they are watching and are being forced?

I'm seeing a lot of sellers like (freelancers and bigtime sellers) say how their traffic is REAL but to my knowledge, that can vary GREATLY from person to person.

YTNuke for example, says they provide "real" views, but ever wondered why you never recieved that 1 rating/comment/sub ???

Users visits in their own will.... being interested in content of the video.... Thats what I think is 'real' views.

porn site traffic redirect to YT video. Traffic is 100% real views.

Ha, you don't even need porn traffic. Think outside the box and you can get millions of unique ip visitors for free, mostly from the US...

Why would you post something like that? You aren't helping anyone or giving any quality information by saying "think outside the box."

If someone enters my shop and buy an item, then that someone would be my 'real' customer.I think we could use that metaphorically for youtube 'real' viewer; a real person who clicked the thumbnail of your youtube videos then do 'something' with the video, i.e thumbing or adding to fav, share etc.My $0.02

Really? So I guess you knew it was possible? More than one method has been figured out just by the mere mention of a minute detail. I suggest you continue not using your brain, stay in the box and wait to be spoonfed... it will happen eventually.

I never asked to be spoonfed. But I do ask that you don't spam the forums acting like you have a magic key, and that the only thing needed to get it, is to "think outside the box." That isn't helping anyone, it is simply spam. Do you honestly believe that if everyone just posted "think outside the box" in every thread, we would all benefit? No. That isn't what makes this forum successful. Your post is spam, nothing more.

This is such a generic BHW reply lol..

But hey, if parroting other people helps you boost your post count, then go for it :)

I'm not going to argue with a NOOB on this forum. If you can't think for yourself when you find out something is possible, thats your loss. The intelligent ones will read my post and get to work and figure it out. The others will wait for mommy to bring them a jar of Gerber...

Exactly. Too many people on BHW trying to act like they got the magic beans, either for post count inflation or to solicit PMs or sell their secret.

Back on topic: "Real" YouTube views to me is just that the video is playing on a "Real" persons computer, and different people each view. People who purchase real views aren't trying to convert those real users, so it doesn't matter if they are actually interested in the video or not. They use the views to boost their ranking/make it look popular, and thats all.

Real YouTube views for me count in my Adsense. Real views are served with likes, favorites, and a few comments, maybe a few subscribers. People have gone over this already, I really don't fucking care if a bot sucks a person in and forces them to view, if that person doesn't dislike or like my video AND I don't get to get paid for his view, then that person is fake and gay.

I would like to agree with you sir. If you physically have to do something like "visit other shops so others can visit yours", that could lead to complications. They aren't a 'real' customer otherwise. The example you used was really good and i feel like others should also learn from that

real is real, just like white is white.
Such a blunt description, care to give more detail? Is mobile views through a bot real views? Is watching your own video 5milllion times real views? If you don't actually earn anything from google adsense, is that real views ?

Every marketer is looking for "real views" for their client.

If a video is new, count on stuffing it with fake before you get real. No "real" people watch videos that have 6 plays. It's just how it is.

Every video I make and promote has a specific plan. I go over the competition for the keywords and figure out how much fake stuffing I am going to have to get it so it is in place to get seen by "real" people

And what would you define as REAL VIEWS?
