Ultimate demon, magic submitter and GSA. Do you need all 3?

I have a friend who wants to use a totally automated link tier program. I have narrowed it down to ultimate demon, magic submitter and GSA.

The question is does he need all 3? Or do they pretty much do the same thing more or less? Or do they all target different tiers and platforms? Ease of use is also an issue for him.

Ultimate demon and magic submitter pretty much does the same thing whereas GSA is different. I will say get UD or MS for 1st tier and GSA for 2nd, 3rd tier etc although you can use GSA for 1st tier if you control it or posting to a disposable site.

You do not need all three.

Don't make the same mistake every new SEO marketer makes and purchase all the big tools without knowing the basics first. We use Ultimate Demon for all of our link building, for the price you pay, and the quality of the program + dev support, it was a no brainer to invest in it in bulk.

That being said, Magic Submitter is definitely a quality tool as well, nothing bad to say about it... but, it's just subpar to UD and it costs more. SenukeX at ~$150/m ... yea, no thanks.

However, learn the basics of building quality links first before you throw down the cash for these tools, there's a post on our blog about it here if you want to check it out.

I've got all three, and use them all continuously.

Yes, MS and UD effectively do the same job, but they each have different strengths and I split the work between them (UD for the bulk stuff, MS for Web 2.0 etc.). Also little things like MS has a great proxy scraper and UD a great proxy tester; UD is great for importing and testing new site lists that you can then also port across to MS.

GSA I use to randomise links to everything I do in UD.

Works for me.

UD and GSA is the best combination. As others said build Web 2.0 with UD and Make other links by using GSA.

Oh I understand full well how linking works but my friend is sold on automation. I've got nothing against it myself but after getting burned by Google updates etc. I prefer the "hands on" tangible approach to linking

With the right filters and quality niche relevant spinning of each of the submission boxes in GSA (don't use the default garbage), you can use GSA on you're money site just fine as long as link velocity is steady for a month-a few weeks after you're ranking. No need to invest in the other tools if you're on a tight budget.

Though if you really wanted to be safe with a site, always best to use web 2.0s in your tier 1 and keep the login information stored somewhere in case you ever need to pull the plug.

I use GSA and UD
Used to have MS and sorta liked the ability to add sites, but it never worked that well for me, and the scripting tool is not brilliant.

I have Ubot and Zenno now anyway - MS is not something that will interest me again.
GSA is great for tiered linking
UD has 90% of the functionality of Nuke, support is better and it costs less. (a LOT less)
Nuke does have that extra 20% in features and will soon have it's own scripting module - but again, not something that interests me.

I would consider scrapebox as well, and factor in captcha solving and probably some proxies.
Scrapebox does a lot, it will find targets for any of the tools mentioned above with decent footprints
captcha solves and proxies are just things that most in IM need at some point.
