Modem Pools (For SMS Marketing)

If your talking about an actual Modem Pool of 8-16-32-64 modems in one box with one USB cord. Those are bad. Very poor quality and somewhat incompatible with the wide spread software we use. I don't think they are a good idea at all and if your a noob starting up in this sms game. Don't waste your hard earn money on them! Waste of time!

Been sending a year now, I've seen others attempt to use this and failed. Get yourself singles, if you got them working Mo_Noney that's great but don't tell starters to buy those =P.

Not trying to rag on you.

Really? I've used them personally. They work flawlessly with SMSCaster, is that not the most popular software used for text blasting? Which model did you use? Sorry just trying to clear any confusion.

I believe you had a bad experience but I wouldn't discredit the machines.

You the owner of the company?

Very nice, that's what I started with as well. What model? I have a lot of 32 ports and several 64 port modems.

I am not, just seeing if there is any interest in these machines on BHW. I've been SMS'ing for a little over a year now and have a decent amount of machines, cell phone number lists, sim cards and knowledge on text blasting. :)

I've tried them and Chronine is correct. There are better ways. All the pools are made from the same crap parts. One of the thing we use will out send a 16 port modem pool.

I have bought numerous ones and they are in the closet collecting dust cause they are to finicky. They lose connection, have poor connections, do not send well. Many things.

It could be your location, are you in a dense city or a suburb? You can't really judge it on your cell phone signal on your regular phone, it has a lot of variables.

I'm selling my 32/64 port q24plus GSM modems and US cell phone number lists. Let me know if anyone is interested, I'm selling because I have some other projects I'm focusing on at the moment

We have a dedicated skype group for SMS guys and we share a lot of insider information. Not only that but also custom SMS tools. SMS caster is for noobs and has a ton of limitations.

I'd definitely be keen to hear from you though.

+rep for sharing info in the forum :)

p.s. would love to have you in our skype group.

Nice to meet you, what's your Skype name? Can you PM me. I have a lot of knowledge (did SMS for over a year now full time). I'm more than interested in keeping up with the biz as I might reenter it very soon. :)

It is the speed and how fast they send we can talk on skype and compare notes, I am reluctant to say to much on forums

Yeah, I wasn't trying to say that they WONT work or that they are impossible to work with. I'm just trying to say that from a management standpoint it's very hard to make them work consistently on a day to day basis.

Ah yes, it takes a good location as well for the signal to have a solid connection and send well. :)

so what would you use as opposed to the modem pools? Also where do you read on how to do this? any advice? thanks.

I don't know about anyone else here but when I started to send SMS very few people was doing it. I basically built the method I have from just testing simple things. I could teach the method for a little compensation =P.

Does it support international mobile numbers, what about KSA while you are outside of it?
