Just created my first affiliate website

So instead of asking questions such as "How to make money" and annoyeveryone, I started to create a basic website and uploaded some articles. I know it sound very shitty when you want all the info and you want something quick and easy, I am not looking for any quick or easy way to make money because I understand there is no such thing as making money easily. Hopefully all the experts here can help me along my journey.
Here is what I did so far.
1. Created a Basic wordpress website
2. Sign up with click bank and so far I am only focusing on Health and beauty products, sign up for 2 products to promote
3. Created a php redirects to secure my hoplinks
4. Setup google analytics and webmaster tools for SEO purpose
5. Installed SEO plugins for wordpress
6 . Created one article so far with the "*productname* reviews" title and it seems to be showing up on google but on 2nd page.
So far I am only getting 2, 3 visits/day on my newly blog and around 40 hops so far on one product and another 30 on another one without any sales.
So here is my question, Am I on the right path? missing anything so far and what should be my next move?

I don't get this, why remove google analytics? I thought end goal of all this should be to rank high in google.

I've always had better luck keeping Google Analytics off until I ranked high in the SERPs, then added it. Every time I had it installed before ranking, I had very poor rankings.

I agree with thxflash! You shouldn't be too bothered about analytics with a new site anyway, if you aren't ranking well, you aren't getting any traffic, so get your site ranked, then add analytics.

A lot of people on here think that Google tracks your whole site through analytics; looking for "unnatural links" and punishing websites that are doing usual SEO practices that Google doesn't like. This is a bit of a conspiracy theory, I know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Besides, there are plenty of other analytics services out there. Piwik is a good one; it's what I use. It's kind of hard to install. You have to create MySQL databases and give permissions and stuff, but I'm a big dummy when it comes to anything technical and I figured it out, so who can't?

Okay thanks for the great info, I temporary disable the google analytics code for now and I am installing piwik for analytic. Also Should I just copy/paste the articles provided by some of the affiliates or write my own articles with links to my affiliates ? Is it good idea to promote multiple affiliates in one blog or make completely new website for each affiliates. My website is focusing on health and beauty right now targeted toward women.

You should always write original content. Do not copy and paste.

I would do different product in separate blogs, especially depending if they would fit in the theme I am trying to focus on. Bit if they complement each other and are related you could consider doing them in same blog, but...do not over do it with tons of products.

Next step would be building some backlinks and trying to rank your articles higher on G.

2. you could think of a good link strategy and start building backlinks with anchor diversity
3. I would recommend you to get social...get some Facebook,twitter,instagram accounts and start getting fans,followers and so on
4. You could use Adsense and some other PPC networks to get clicks and generate some sales

1.Do you think it's too early to make any videos for youtube?, I only have about 7,8 articles so far on the website.
2.Can you elaborate on that, how do you start building backlinks, should I get any software for wordpress to do that? Any recommendations?
I'll start social media, but how do I add friends to my facebook? Obviously I'll not be using my personal email and name, how do I make friends?
