Whats your opinion on this, BHW?

In my opinion, it's just an other fad in the internet marketing world, and it will blow over pretty soon! I mean, a unique article is a unique article .. What difference does it make sprinkling a few long tails in there, apart from the obvious fact that you may get traffic from more keywords ... Or is that the only benefit?

Well it cant hurt can it ? back in the day you could write a laser targeted article with 5-7% keyword spamming....now you get penalised for over optimisation so you want to keep it 0.5-1% so might as well drop in 4-5 secondary keywords in there just in case....spot of google fishing !

It's as much about value to the visitor as well plus improving repeat visit rates. Imagine there are 5 interrelated articles which all compliment each other. Users are going to want to return to read more and more.

Maybe you should consider LSI as more usually than earlier. Before LSI was considered something special, but now it's becoming normal with latest G updates.

Why not just backlink with only one keyword too?

Something a 3rd grader writes is also a unique article, and something someone with Majors in English Hons. will also write a unique article, but which one will you trust more?

Don't cheap out on content. It's one of the most important parts of any website. It is what decides whether you'll make money or not.

Do you mean for your money site? Writing LSI articles is good because you can rank your site for many more longtail keywords this way, and thus get more traffic. However, I do not believe that writing them is necessary to simply rank a main keyword, judging from the results in google.

Hopefully you're not writing unique articles for each backlink, which is a waste of time, but I always use LSI terms in my spun content, primarily because it makes the output more unique.

i don't do seo in articles....i just write a reasonable intelligent article about a topic and it will get indexed and rank for what it should rank for.

I think post Panda/Penguin they are a must and I get it at the same rate as normal article from my writer, so its all good :)

Care to share your writer? :D

The only LSI writers I have seen cost an arm and a leg!

I do my own writing but I did use 2 writers in the bst to do some articles for me.....they were not the usual $2 for 500 words crap but I wouldnt say they cost an arm and a leg for quality work.

It's not crazy expensive, but for LSI articles you can expect to pay $2 - $3+ per 100 words. I have ordered content which costs $2 per 100 words, and I have found a service for $1.20 per 100 words which is a stack better .. People say 'You get what you pay for', but that's not true! It's the writer what charges the price, not the content itself.

I was just wondering if it was actually worth paying double what I am already paying, for an article of the same standard, but with a few long tails thrown in?

Phillips pierce did some nice work for me...You appear to be a decent writer yourself...its not hard Keyword +++ 4-5 LSis write a 600 word article. If you find a good writer and your niche is paying you then pay for a writer but you are also capable of doing your own stuff and google doesnt check grammar etc .

Definitely not necessary but after all the panda updates, they can for sure help much more with rankings.

Not necessary but they definitely help. Especially nowadays.

Anybody have any experience with Web Content Studio? It's not very expensive, was thinking about scooping up a copy but want to hear if anyone thinks its worth it/has seen better results since creating LSI content using it.

No matter what, LSI articles are never 100% unique so they are not actually necessary, but yes they can fulfil the need many times.

Write articles that are readable to end users.

The LSI will come naturally.
