My plan:
- Choose the profitable niche and product at clickbank to promote.
- Build the review site about my product
- Join forum(s) related to my niche
- Using signature link to drive traffic to my review site.
I know this method require time and it is difficult to get sales within a few days.
My question:
How to be reputed member at these forum(s) if i have no knowledge about that niche so that i get more clicks on my signature link?

Offer a freebie in your forum post or sig, downloadable from your site, which requires filling in an opt-in box. As per peter2002's technique, make the exit page of the free download process the landing page of the CB product.

Solid plan take some action, the fastest way to gain knowledge in a niche is to read and participate in said forums. If you are somewhat interested in it, it's not hard to get a good idea of the types of questions and answers people are looking for. Another cool thing is that this in turn will help you write more relevant posts for your site. Also, instead of going straight for the sale, build a list. You will be able to increase the amount you make per visitor.

I haven't had time to try this yet, nor have I heard about anyone else doing it (but it may have been done before)

My idea was to find a few medium-ranking members. You want someone with a good reputation in the forum, but not a senior member or a mod or anything; this would probably not fly with them. Anyway, I would send a PM to them proposing to pay them money to make a post linking to my site, or asking to rent out their signature. That way, I get a link that won't be viewed with such suspicion because it is coming from a trusted member, but I don't have to spend time posting and building up my own reputation just to drop a link. Of course, one of the stipulations would be that he not tell people that some guy rented out his signature or payed him to make a post, and if anyone asks, he will just pretend that he likes that product and wanted to share.

It's possible that if he is a very "loyal" member, he will make a big post warning everyone that some spammer is sending PMs asking to rent out signatures and paying for covert spam posts. Then this could ruin the possibility of ever getting sales from that forum, unless you wait until everyone has forgotten about it and try again.

If you could manage to get several members to do this for you and keep it quiet, you could probably get some good traffic, because any noob coming to that forum would see all these trusted members recommending a certain product in their sigs and posts, and be convinced.

Man, I really have to get on this...

Nice method. Reputation does actually require some work, it will take time but after a while it pays off. The best way is to create new threads and comment on many others

I don't see peter2002's technique as you suggested.

I had another little trick that I forgot to mention... Most forums have a little "lounge" or "off-topic" section (just like BHW does) Something I do sometimes is make a bunch of posts there in "funny picture" threads or whatever; just chatting about random stuff with people. This will get your post count up. If anyone looks at your posts, they will see that you have only posted there, but it will fool the people who just see a high post count and assume that you're legit.

I agree, they get a lot of views and people like them too. Its a good idea to use them imo.

Rent out sig as ButcherPete said, then find their best posts on the forum and once every day or two bump them with a quality post. Use multiple accounts to avoid anyone seeing a pattern. It doesn't matter if you get banned or anything because your link is in their sig.

Do you guys think most members would be cool with having their sigs rented out?
