global site list is not working correctly...
i mentioned this a lot of times and other user too ... dont understand why nobody cares...

here is the proof:

my global site list has got about 1000 verified social bookmarking sites ( pligg, scuttle, and so on... )
i made a project with only social bookmarking and without any filters... so i startet in mode active ( use global site list only ) .
after 30 minutes 60 sites where submitted... and now ? ... nothing more... log file only shows 0/50 sites from site list loaded... again and again...

this is a really big bug... and its an old one... why isnt it fixed?

Is anyone else having problems with the GSA website?

I just bought it today and it times out everytime i try to download the software.

The site was temporarily down earlier do to DDOS. It is back up now.

I've seen you mention is before and it wasn't meant to be skipped/avoided. The global site lists seem to work great for me. I've talked to Sven about this as well and he also said there is no issues during his testing. I'll mention this to him again but it would be best if you posted in the forum if you haven't already.

Seems what ever preventative measures sven took, they are blocking some people from viewing

Well the forum was down a few times today due to the earlier issues. Is it working for you now? Make sure it isn't cached in your browser. The forum should be up for everyone, but if there is still an issue let me know and I'll talk to Sven.

I am still having problems connecting to the forum or even updating my software. It says version 4.08 is up to date. I have cleared my local cache and tried it in another browser and I cannot access the forum on my vps either. SER is running on the vps

This is a great tool, the scripting engine really interests me.

Is to possible to create a script that would login to a site and post a comment with an account then when finished it would run again with a different account taken from a text file which contains a list of accounts in userass format? Then it would continue and cycle through all the accounts in the list.

I think the developer should consider making a standalone application based around the scripting engine which would compete with zennoposter/ubot. It would blow them out of the water.

Ya know I'm not an expert in the scripting language. Someone like Ozzmanor could probably better answer that, but from what I know I don't think what you're asking for is possible yet. I'm not 100% on that.

I'm sure he considers everything people ask for but he's got other things lined up first after GSA SER. There is still a platform trainer to be released in the future that can help people with coding new platforms. No ETA on that one yet.

Just a short info that many users tend to ignore because of language barrier but is very useful to do it - German language fields (250 ch and 450 ch) for comments brought me some very nice .edu pr 4,5,6 links. I don't speak german but for 5 usd on Fiverr I've got my 600 word english article translated, plus spuned description. Fiverr gig was provided by user Jacobsgraphics and he did excellent job, he even sent me text with and without german unicode letters so you can choose which one to use.

I don't think that is possible any time soon. But to clarify this you should post your request into the official forum (once its running again) or contact the developer directly via email. As S4ntos mentioned he has still a lot to do with existing and future products like platform-trainer and captcha solving software.

In which currency? In regards to the captcha software. He posted this a few days ago to a member who asked for help of a captcha solver software: "... isn't that a bit rude to ask for support on your upcoming software in a forum of another software company who is about to code the same thing?". Nothing is set in stone yet, but it looks good

Oh man, I'm getting excited already! Sven makes good programs + amazing support (you request it, he'll implement it. you send a bug, he'll fix it within an hour) so I have zero doubt this new captcha solving program will be very very very good!

Plus, all of his programs are reasonably priced with no monthly fees so this is going to be sweet!!!

I remember he said they already have a working captcha program for internal/testing purposes so I'm hoping we'll get our hands on the new tool soon!

proxies as they might detect that you signed up on one of there other sites

Btw, if you ever run out of Web 2.0s, I have 137 of these I manually coded using ZennoPoster (although some use JavaScript). You get two types of backlinks---profile and blog posts.

Only dupe so far with GSA are these sites: Posterous and OnSugar.

at swi7ch: It would be great if you can post your list to the forum and mark them as JS or not, if possible. I would add this list to S4ntos "Quality Web20"-thread to stay top on things.

at all: You don't have to thank me, give all the credit to Sven. None of my scripts have worked so far, lol. Sven had to fix every single one of them, which bugs me most. To my defense I have to say that they are hard to debug

But this should not prevent someone from trying to code a script. The opposite is true, because Sven (Jobs) is very helpful and as you can you see you get all the credit
I've posted a template for Web20 as well as a Notepad++ GSA Edition in the official forum which should be a great help to everyone who wants to give it a shot.
