What's missing in the Internet Marketing Product world?

Hey all,

Thinking about making a product. The best way to learn about something is to teach it. So, I want to start working on an Internet Marketing product and I'm looking for input from you seasoned promoters.

What is lacking in regard to current IM products out there? What are the pros and cons? What needs to be changed in regard to the information or practices? What general beliefs about marketing need to be instilled or otherwise destroyed?

Any input would be appreciated.

I see that "spoonfeed" is word used often around here. It's OK, you want to apart of the click and jump on the bashing bandwagon in hopes you get a few chuckles or a couple of useless "likes". It's cute.

Let me also explain a little term called Due Diligence and research. When a serious individual sets out to accomplish something such as I, they conduct the appropriate research. Rest assured that this is what I'm doing and I don't cut corners. Never have and never will. That being said, only an IDIOT would attempt to create a product without first gathering as much possible information from industry experts. You probably aren't an industry expert...Jr. VIP doesn't bring you closer to that either, mind you. But I maintain that there are probably quite a few guys and gals here that are worth their salt. I also maintain that there are probably a few out there that have something constructive and valid to report on the subject.

You see, I plan to create a superior product and offer competitive commissions. Which means a win-win for both parties; myself, and the promoters. Some of which whom may have contributed to this post. It's my desire to learn as much as possible and work my ass off to obtain my financial goals. And I will. Remember that a year from now when your're still trolling on a website and I've secured the financial freedom only a very small amount of individuals here will ever achieve. Those people, myself included, are called action-takers. We get shit done. We do everything we can and lose sleep and forget to eat as consequence of pursuing our dreams.

I'm here looking for input from people with inside knowledge and know-how. I'm here to soak up every bit of information I can find. And I'm not going to apologize or feel bad for asking for that information. Because it's what I plan to do with it that counts.

Lastly, I'd like to ask you a question. Do you have any idea how many pages the affiliate section alone goes back? The answer is 237 pages. Would you like to know how I know? Because I have started on the very first page and have been reading EVERYTHING. Anything I have interest in I read. So I'm not here looking for a "spoon-feeding". I'm here looking for quality replies from people that matter and know their shit. Specific replies to specific questions.

Respectfully, isn't the OP doing the research that you are suggesting? Generally, development&marketing both are tuned into 'find a need and fill it'. If he is posting a request he is looking for the needs of users, not filling his own perception of needs. IF I wanted to build a product for an engineer, I would take a poll of engineers in the field as to what is needed ... what would you do ? Seriously?!

FWIW, from what I have seen and read of seo tools that are designed to build links, for the most part they do not mimick human behavior which is the googlespeak for unnatural links. If this is interesting and connects with your other research then PM me.

No I don't. I think there are far more people here excited at the idea of success rather than putting forward the work. That's human nature. Paths of least resistance are desired and appealing. I also believe that there are several people here that solely promote and have no interest in being a vendor. Does that mean they don't have feedback or opinions on would could be different? Absolutely not. Does it mean more potential revenue for them and less chargebacks? Quite possibly.

If you disagree, that's fine. Disagree. But don't question my good intentions or desire to succeed and put-forth hard work. Today's post has nothing to do with a need or desire to be spoonfed. It's appropriate research. Simple as that.

I'm guessing this whole argument happened because of the OP's starting post's presentation, it kind of makes it sound like he wants to be spoon fed, maybe he wants to, maybe he doesn't want to, but that's not the point.

I'm just asking for desires here. I'm asking the market for input on what the market wants. Then, it's my goal to build a product around needs. This is no different than throwing out a survey.

I'm willing to bet that there are only a couple reasons why I'm met with hostility here:

1. Because some people want all the work done for them and need all the answers handed to them. This pisses people off and disgusts and irritates those with good intentions and hard workers. I get it. Fair enough. They read my post and jump to the concslusion that I want them to build my empire. If you asked a follow-up question and I then said " I need help making money! Can you teach me what you do so I can do it too?" I'd understand the hostility. But I didn't ask for any of that.

2. Because people don't like to see the "new-guy" with gumption, ambition, and drive. It's threatening and bruising to some people's egos who don't/can't share the same mindset. No one said it had to make sense. But I'm sure there's a lot of people here who get that way. It's directly related to maturity. Which is why my feelings aren't hurt.

Then, you have people who read, have nothing to contribute and move on. I like those people.

Lastly, you have a few genuine individuals, who feel that they may have something to say... That's constructive and possibly helpful to the best of their ability. They say it. And that's that.

I don't see this an argument at all. Just a firm, straight-to-the-point explanation of my intentions and needs going forward as to not have any further confusion.

If it's a ClickBank IM product, here's your check-list for a product:

1. Product can't teach the buyer anything they really need to know, just common IM sense.
2. You need to make a ton of weird graphics with your logo on them so it looks like they are getting a box full of stuff, when really it's just a digital download.
3. You need to spend 20% of your time of the product, 80% of your time on the landing page.
4. Speaking of your landing page, it needs to include a lot of false promises and a price that has been "changed" from $11,000 to $37 for a limited time.
5. You need to have lots of good reviews on Warrior Forum.

Then just sit back and get rich

The thing about BHW and the other five or six huge IM forums is that nobody is going to tell you the kind of info you are looking for in this thread because it would be highly valuable. Thus, posting it publicly would mean saturation for the idea/method and destroy the chances of you and anyone who helps you actually making money from it. Maybe you think that it's all happy sharing but the truth is that's only half-true. The other half is dark and scary and you should be afraid (just look at the Shitlist section).

The other thing is that the info really DOES go back a few years, hundreds of pages, which you yourself have said you've already read. I'm sorry but I don't believe you. Cuz if you had, you'd see the countless methods people have posted, many of which still have quite a bit of value, and you'd realize that starting a thread like this is going against the grain.

Don't post asking for a product idea or a method.
Instead, be creative.
Be ambiguous, even misleading or misdirecting if you have to.
Treat your ideas like gold and your posts as if everything and
anything you say will be stolen and destroyed.

To answer your question of what is lacking in IM products: A decent IM product. Lmao. Products created by internet marketers to be sold are exactly that and nothing more, a product created to be sold, created to sound great and amazing, and once you get it, it's just a generic, barely touching the surface of whatever niche it was promoting, waste of money. This is of course talking in the ebook / wso side of internet marketing, which I think you were referring to when saying creating a product.
