i never thought of this, i only knew its good to use to bypass url filtering when your spamming
 
I got further with this and here are some test result.

1) I look over the logs of a webpage that was accessed with google translate and the connection is show as coming form a G IP with translate.google as a referral
2) I ask a friend to access Facebook trough this method from his work (they have restricted the access to facebook) and he tell me that he wasn't able to pass the restriction.

Any way this is a great information but can not be use for avoid network restrictions
