WP Anti Spam Solution

I use SI Captcha Anti Spam in WordPress to avoid comment spamming, but I still receive lots of automated comments from bots everyday, although the difficulty level is high.
Do you know any free anti spam solution for WP ?!

Are you sure that akismet plugin is enabled on your blog?

Akismet requires an API Key which is not free to obtain...
The Stop Spammer Registrations Plugin seems promising... Should I use it along side SI Captcha or alone ?!

All you need in order to activate Akismet plugin, is to get API key from WordPress.com.

Have a look at this page and create an account in wordpress.com. Your API key will be emailed to you which you've to insert/update in Akismet plugin.

Also you don't have to keep multiple security plugins activated at the same time. It will simply slow down your site loading speed. A single plugin like SFS itself is more than enough to block spammers.

You can use a Single wordpress.com API on all your websites. There's no limitations as far as I know.

"Spam Free Wordpress" is 100% efficient against bots, doesn't need an API key, is easy to install, and free.

Really? https://akismet.com/signup/ and move the slider to $0.00 to get the key free of cost. Its one of the best tools to stop automated spam comments.
