I think my lifetime average payout per download on Sharecash is around .56 so If there is substantial proof that it will be a good deal higher than that on cleanfiles ill switch over in an instant. What payouts are you guys averaging per download?

I really like the layout and the clean feel to the site. I think I am going to try it out. Sounds like a very simple method for a noob and epc looks great so far.

It all depends on your traffic. I have some guys who are averaging $6 per download! This is pretty high/lucky though.

There's a few people who are getting probably AVG .30 per download, this is pretty rare though, and most of their traffic is from weird third world countries.

People with most of their traffic from US usually average around .80 per download.

You should ask the user "sourabhswarnkar" what his download stats are. He is sending a nice mix of traffic (none of it is US tho) and if you look at his screenshot above, he is averaging $1.17 per download

So it all depends on how high quality your traffic is!

Again though, AVG per download is not my focus. I focus on EPC and EPI because they are much more important IMO.

my downloads are about 50% USA traffic and the rest is a mixture of countries, and yeah I agree getting more people to convert is better than worrying about payout per download, which is why im so in love with ur download screen layout . It's just that it would be a pain to totally convert sharecash links to cleanfiles and then not see a big increase.

Dude... no offense, but your hosting isn't the dumb one here. Any one who has experience running high traffic websites knows that a shared hosting plan is not gonna come close to cutting it for a web app has to hammer disk all day long. This is common knowledge. If you want anyone to take you seriously you need to be on the ball and ready to scale your operation smoothly within a moments notice.

You fucked up, not your host. You are the one who is leaving your pubs holding their dicks in their hands all day so you can go to church with your mom. Be professional and take responsibility for your actions.

Yes, I know that a shared hosting is a stupid idea for a site like this. They are unreliable and really slow...

But you are acting like I knew this was going to happen but refused to upgrade my server. This whole site is only 3 weeks old. I was simply using my shared host to dip my feet in the water and get my design, layout, and backbone programming started.

I didn't even have a single clue that this would happen. My hosting cpanel shows either .1% or 0% EVERY time I check my CPU usage:

And IF I was ever getting CLOSE to my CPU limit, I would hope that they would at LEAST give me a simple warning email. But nope, nothing. They just email me and tell me I'm overboard on CPU and they pull the plug on my site. What the heck? How am I supposed to react to that...? It's not even a business day.

Further more, I just had my wisdom teeth ripped out of my face two days ago, so I apologize for being a bit out of it.

And don't even try and act like I got scared and ran to church with my mom. That was not my choice at all. I had to edit my scripts and tell my host to put me back up from my ipod in the stupid bathroom. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I am not around much on sunday. It's a family day for us. It is very unprofessional of my hosting to try and work things out on a weekend.

Don't troll of flame, but if someone posts something stupid/inaccurate/offensive on a public forum they deserve to be put on blast and mercilessly gutted in front of their fellow forum members.

If you were targeting to make money with your PPD site then high traffic is a must, and high traffic site can only be hosted on quality vps or dedicated server.
But looks like you tried to make a "no to small investment" business
I am not blaming you, since you are still kid it's hard for you to invest bigger cash, but now once you are in the game, buy your self good quality dedicated server. I would highly recommend you NL, RU or HK server to bypass stupid DMCA complains, or if you are ready to proceed them, then buy a server in UK - good connections to both, usa and europe.

Well that certainly would be the right approach, but you went further then dipping your feet in the water.. you dove right in head first when you started this thread. You should have been pushing TONS of your own traffic and had these issues ironed out long before you went public. Simply put you weren't ready for primetime.

I don't blame you for taking sunday off, and I don't blame you for occasional downtime. Even the biggest networks have issues with downtime.

But I do think that you should have know that the your shared hosting would get cut off without any warning whatsoever. There is nothing abnormal about that. Anyone who has ever run even a remotely popular site probably found this out the the hard way too (I know I did). The thing is, it's ok when your shitty little wp site goes down, but when you make claims of being the #1 ppd network and other people put their trust in your hands... I'm sorry but it's NOT ok to be unaware of these things.

I don't think you got scared, and I'm sorry your teeth hurt and that your sunday was ruined, but when you make a mistake just own up to it. Don't blame your host, they are not responsible for making sure your operation scales smoothly. They provide services to thousands of customers, of course they are going to automatically shut you down when you start to devour the resources of that shared box.

Obviously that was a joke in the lounge. If you look at my posts you will see that I'm actually a very level headed person. I may not sugar coat anything, but I'm really only trying to give you some friendly advice and a bit of hard truth. I mean no disrespect, and I wish only the best for you and your network. Obviously you are a very capable developer (make no mistake, I think it's super impressive that you're doing this at your age), and you seem dedicated so I'm sure you will get it all figured out.

haha if still want my opinion... These days all of my web apps get deployed in the cloud from day 1. I used to go the dedicated route, but I find that paying a little more for something more flexible/scalable is more then worth it.

Fair enough. Sorry for over-reacting. I was just upset with my host because I had been anticipating this and watching the CPU usage for it and I was thinking everything was fine. You said I wasn't ready for Primetime, and you are right, but I think it's my hosts fault. There was NO indication from the CPU usage graphs OR their support team that this was coming up. Then they send me an email and turn it off right before I had to leave

It has just been a rough weekend and it was a terrible time for that to happen. But you are right, I can't just blame the host (although I am still upset with them).

Cloud hosting, huh? What provider do you use.
