How to get .EDU blogs ?

Hi

I was searching Big G and was looking for ways to find .edu blogs and .us blogs ... i saw many people at various forums selling .edu blogs ..

What i wanted to know was -- is this same as how profile link packages were sold (famous angela paul packages) ?? Can they be scraped or do we actually need to buy these .edu blogs to get hold of them ??

what i meant was -- people are giving .edu blogs for own use.. as in you can then put articles with links as you like (like a wordpress blog)

so how do we find out such blogs -- as in which will allow us to create our own blog on a .edu site or a .us site

Why not order from Bigbuddy or vishyjames here and take a look. Then you can scrape for more yourself.

kind of .. i am looking for edu websites that allow me to make my own blogs and hence allow me to post unlimited number of articles (good unique content obviously)

You guys are misunderstanding the op. He wants to buy an edu blog for his own use. Not look at one for commenting.

Getting your own EDU (your own) or a subdomain on an EDU blog for himself is what he's after. It is indeed very possible. I have an .EDU that I bought via a user here a couple of years ago. She facilitated the and put me in touch with the main blog owner, I grovelled and told them about my legit work - I got a subdomain. It is on a specific server 9the Eniversity server) [most hosts don't accept .EDU's] I can't use it to overtly promote anything but can link to sites that do. It cost me under $100 for the name and costs nothing for hosting. However the content I write has to be on topic and completely bona fide. (not copied, not spun etc - write once post once and relavent)

Those that don't know me that well, it's a University blog from the establishment where I did my Ph.D

Does backlinking from edu sites still help? I was under the impression that Google really didn't factor that anymore.
