How many visitors to expect by submitting articles

Can anybody suggest how many articles to submit in article directory to get around 200-300 visitors per day to my site.

You would probably need an article submitter for that. Problem is, if you mass submit an article using a software, and if you are submitting the SAME article to all the article directories within a day (say more than 20 or so), you might have a problem with Google, especially with the new algorithm updates.

that is a very niche dependent question, and you're only limited by your resources honestly. i've found robotic submissions and article blasts build up backlinks (great for videos) but not so good for actual web pages. in terms of traffic I prefer to write well written articles myself and puchase retweets with fiverr.

although this isn't seo per say, it still drives traffic, and if you do it right your 200 to 300 visitors a day is easily achieved in a rather quick manner.

Garima, you raise an interesting question, from what I hear you saying, you are actually trying to see how many visitors will visit as a result of literally reading your articles... You are asking about article marketing for an audience, which often gets confused with article marketing for SEO purposes.

In my experience, the two go hand in hand, but putting aside the SEO piece, article marketing, forum marketing, blog comments, and social when used to capture an audience all boils down to the following areas: size of the audience, frequency of message and engagement.

Size of the audience - It becomes simple math when you look to reach a group. You might expect from a site that has 1,000,000 visitors a day that the chance of them finding your post among the masses is going to be tough, but let's say you can capture .00001% of those users, that would then equal 10 visitors. Find 20 - 30 more sites like that and you have 200 - 300 visitors.

The problem with the math here is that its not as simple as 1 post = 10 visits as building an audience takes more than posting articles and seeing results, which goes into my next point.

Frequency of Message - A one time wonder is just that, one time and done and never remembered. When it comes to building an audience through these channels, don't be that guy that is a one hit wonder, continually contribute and be involved in the sits you frequent. Your message should also be along the same line so that those that do view your articles will start to see that you are the "expert" on the matter. Over time, you build a regular audience and then those individuals look forward to your next article. This is actually what many people do on EzineArticles and it is a viable strategy, however, just writing and not connecting is not good.

Engagement - When you write articles for an audience you need to engage them, both in the article and on the platforms you are marketing on. That is to say, you will have a greater impact if you participate on these sites, fill out the profile, get real and engage with other users. As you engage, you start to really understand what they are looking for and what you could write about. It takes just a week to get to know a group and after that time you can start writing content that they want to read.

In conclusion, I would say, it will take most people 6 months, 25 posts a day and involvement in 5 of these channels, practicing what I shared above, for them to garner 200 - 300 visitors a day. This is a rough estimate, but I think a likely estimate. Remember though, while building an audience like this looks like hard work, all along you will be building SEO benefit to your site, which will result in lots of organic traffic as well.
