Where do CPA networks find advertisers?

I am not planning on starting up my own network, just a question I've been curious about for awhile.

Well it's not at first.

I believe the CPA networks advertise themselves first but generaly its upto the advertiser to contact the network.

It's called work. Sales calls, prospecting, networking etc.

I am just speculating, but I suspect they hook up the advertisers with cocaine, hookers, and luxury suites to entice them.

i was wondering is there a full complete list of advertisers somewhere?

i believe most of the CPA networks are running affiliate systems...so when they earn they pay you also they are working with advertisers..correct me if i am not right.

To start off with, a new CPA network will need to find advertisers. They do this by finding the source of an affiliate link which leads to the advertiser where they contact them. Or alternatively they can just grab offers from other networks.
