How many visits do you get from posting on yahoo answers?

Hi,
I created blog with product's review and started answering niche related questions on yahoo answers with link to the review in answer's content or it's source section.
I write 20 answers a day, but get only about 30 visits of my blog and about 5 hops to product's selling page.
Is it bad/average/good result from posting on yahoo answers?
In my opinion it's quite bad, but maybe posting on yahoo answers doesn't pay?
I would like to hear about your experiences with this type of promotion.

How many days have you been doing this for? Most likely you need to continue posting, but also try other places like YT, Twitter, Forums, etc. If your content is not unique make it so, and then you are also slowly doing SEO to get search traffic down in the future.

You can't predict this stuff, it all follows a power-law like curve so the average is meaningless; you can build 1000 links and just 1 might account for over 50% off the traffic. Like bartono, if you build enough links you will get some stand out winners. I have a shitty thin niche site that was an experiment and tanked bad with Penguin, but as part of the link building process I bought a bunch of manual blog and forum comments, well just one of those links brings me enough human traffic daily to make it profitable and warrant maintaining and updating the site, whereas another similar site I didn't do that for also tanked and I just let expire yesterday.

Those questions that appear in Google's SERP will give you most traffic. People will go through Google to Yahoo answers to your site, but it isn't easy to find those questions that rank in very niche.

Just wanna know, do you look for a question that is related to your niche or you answer any question and leave your link? Just curious what you guys are doing..

It depend on question and answer your give, when I answer some question and the answer satisfy level is high and it is solve the problem it can deliver 100-300 hits from current page.
