This JV is similar to the one that was posted like 2 weeks ago by an other member.
I wouldnt thought myself that it would get much interest, but it is a good concept.
I have a BST where i sell amazon magento stores. I have a bigger order scheduled for this coming week, i would like to use the profit to buy an other premium theme club membership (they are in pair with the best themeforest themes) which would help the stores with sales, and to get some private extensions developed for magento.
Im in regular chatting with the developer of the amazon script and of other extensions, and i had some agreement forming some extras for that plugin and for some other commercial extensions. I dont have the funds to get everything done (extensions+themes) and make sites for myself, it would only worth to do at around 30-50 sites, so each site has a fraction of the costs. Getting those done at around $800 for 10 sites aint worth it, opposed to 30-50 or more.
I have my own pack of sites that are making some cash every month, but back in april i sold most of them to pay out the cost of some really important personal stuff.
I even had my sample site make a few bucks without even promoting it anywhere. Since then i build sites again for myself, but I dont have enough funds for scalling it up and getting the extensions done, so i look for partner or partners.
I picked and bought extensions for the stores i built, also have a few premium themes from themeforest already. Also have some scripts to pick product ASINs from certain category if its hard to scrape which happens sometimes.
The project: build amazon stores, promote them, and split profit 50/50.
Investment: $100 for each site, for buying keywords, aged domains, articles, hosting costs. The sites will use your Amazon Associate ID, and keys. I'll have the sites on my hosting accounts (they wont be running on basic shared host), and i will get the themes and extensions done. My part will be to get the whole site up and running, and promoting them, getting traffic from seo, ppc or Pinterest etc. Setting up 30 or 50 sites would take max 4-5 weeks in a schedule. You will be in control of the earnings, which we would split 50/50, i can invoice you for that, so you wont have to worry about taxes on my part.
I can build sites for any amazon area, germany, uk, spain, but i would only set up sites for US amazon in this jv, as promoting them on other languages is pretty hard. So at enough interest i can buy the theme pack & get the extensions developed, some of them will be for on-site seo, other one for easy set up of a few things on the sites automatically.
I can solve any coding issue or modification, getting the graphics, banners, logos done. I used to customize the sites to the point that they look professional. I have a guy here locally i taught to have him help with my BST, so i can use him for this project. I will also expand the sites with new related categories regulary to make them a larger site on the long run.
Exit strategy: If the site fails to earn at 3-6 months, or makes only a few bucks, we can sell it, and split the profit 50/50. Though i would like to keep this jv going for a longer time with partners, as winter is coming and it will be a really good season to have sites up.
I look for guys who would do at least 2-3 sites each with me so i can keep track of it.
Well thats it, if there is any questions please let me know.
