The main difference in these two videos is the way the scripts were written. The first video used less text which makes the narration more straight forward. Also the first video has logo with voice over which makes it standout totally different. Now without the voice over, it is less engaging as it would be as with one.
Lastly, in the first video some of the characters were custom drawn. Custom drawing takes way too much more time and is also way more expensive. A minute of custom drawing costs upwards of $690/minute. For $97, if you provide logo and order voice over, you will get video of the similar quality.

This might work. I know some students that could sketch up my cartoons for cheap. What is the file format and resolution that you need for a single frame (i.e. a black on white cartoon drawing that takes up the whole frame)?
