Site was set up early 2011, I bought from previous owner earlier this year so don't have all revenue details - would this impact bidders willingness to pay?

Hi, how much would you value this site at:

6 Months Old,
EMD domain in a medical niche -We promote 'holistic/natural' cures for a certain ailment.
Ranked Number 1 on Google USA for a number of keywords in this niche
Site gets roughly 450 UV per day
We monetize it using Adsense and Clickbank..
It makes from $0.50 -$2.00 a day from adsense - the keyword is actually $5CPC but unfortunately it hasn't been displaying niche relevant ads..
It's had 4 sales so far from clickbank (but has only just started getting traffic over 200UV+ and sales are recent). Also started an opt in mailing list which is gaining subscribers by the day with one sale being generated from this list..
Good quality content and about 6k+ words..
Solid backlink profile which I personally made - all first tier links are handmade and high quality backed up by private network contextual links, many other tiers etc..

How much could this go for?

Probably $500-$1000.

Hey meathead I want to sell my blog .
Its optimized for 2 main keywords, since i optimized it for a second main keyword am getting 400-500 euro / month.
i get the money from an affiliate programm that sells the product. the stats of the affiliate product show 600-700 clicks on my affiliate links and 50-60 sells , with 9 euro for each sell.
the content is 100% unique and written by my own.
the website is 6 months old.

When converted to USD, probably around $8000-$10,000.

I just picked up a new domain name a few hours ago, the point of it was to invest in the future.

Currently there are around no real searches for the site name but there are around 20-40k searches surrounding the actual name (if that makes sense) for more specific search terms it is about 12k

If possible I would love to know what the potential would be, I.e to flip it in a year or two's time (I do not have enough posts to pm directly so any help would be amazing)

Have been doing a lot of quality seo and now at first page for my keywords but the rankings still could be improved a lot with some work.
Yahoo answers promotion, Youtube promotion (both bringing about 5% of the traffic, 5% is direct and 90% search traffic).

Want to sell a Google Sniper-like site that was earning between $500-$1,000 for a dating affiliate program most months, and I had it up for about 2 years. It was ranked between #1 and #2 for 2 targeted keywords. The content was 3 posts and a review of the dating guru's product. What do you think so far? What would it sell for?

Most of the backlinks have the anchor text Ohio Web Design, A banner image with an alt tag based around Ohio Web Design or are simply brand links.
Currently just have a landing page set up with everything else being redirected to this page via a 301 redirect - this page previously had PR4 but has since dropped to PR2.
Links out to two other website, both of which have gained +1 PR since adding the link.
Site created in 2005.

Other one is ranking 1st for 1st for 6600 + 4th 18,000 exact search and making around 1500-2000€/month. Lot of longtail/inner page traffic also.

Other one is ranking 2nd for 18,000 exact search, 1st for 5400 exact search and 4th for 9900 exact. And making around 6000€/month.

Movie sites are hard to sell these days. I'd suggest keeping it.

Hi, I realize that if no revenue is generated the site might not be worth much but please take a look at the following:
- Site registered in 2001
- pr4
- 2300000 search results
- about 300 unique visits (monthly)
- no ads. revenue is directly from product sales (site is for artwork shop)
- 5 letter domain
- other sites exist with the same name, different extensions; as well as other sites with the name included in the domain (e.g. _____international, global_____) which could be interested.

Worth keeping/selling the domain?

Great thread, deffinietly very helpful of you to share your experience. I need some cash towards one of my IM projects and I wanted to sell one of my sites that I haven't really worked on. I've never sold any sites before hence this would be very valuable information to me. If the site won't sell for something resonable then I would obviously rather keep it and work on it at a later date when I get the time to do so. The domain has been created in 2010 and wasn't really worked on until this year where in May it started making money.


Some information:

- 2 year old 3 letter .com
- Simple 10 page website
- Evergreen informational ClickBank affiliate product
- PR0
- SEOmoz Rank 1.76
- 14K unique visitors this year
- 6K last month
- 2.4K so far this month (fallen slighlty in search results)
- #5 for main keyword (this brings all of the traffic, used to be #2 but haven't been working on it)
- Outranked by two YouTube videos where one is only a month old, at #2 a competitor, at #1 wikihow.
- Site seems to convert really well and I think it's got a great potential for a sustainable income.
- Keyword gets 12K exact monthly US searches, additionally there are many more potentially good keywords
- $220 3 month average (19th May to 19th August)


I'd assume the site to be worth anywhere from $1200 to $2000. Flippa's new valuation tool gives the site a Flippa Rank 2 with a range between $160 - $2600. #2 Competitor is for some reason valued at $0 - $1200 with a Flippa Rank of 1.

Hopefully the site can sell for a resonable amount, otherwise I'll just keep it. Only thinking of selling it due to needing money.

Transactions: 285 Now: 698
Repeat Customers: 30 Not Sure.
Affiliates: ~20 Now: 31, still most don't bring sales.
Sales: $8,880.23 USD Now: $24,047.41 USD
Product Cost: $3,580 USD Now: $9,601.60 USD
Affiliates Pay: 63.80 USD Now: $512.67 USD
Revenue: $5,236.43 USD Now: $13,933 USD

First month, March, it really didn't go much. Taking out expenses for different advertising services I was trying:
April = $936.24 USD
May = $2,187.41 USD
June = $2,393.09 USD
July = $4,244.80 USD

August I've had payment processor issues and other headaches (not site related, paypal and CC's), so at about ~1600 in profit.

Edit: Bought your flippa guide, still going through it. If I could get 15 x my April - July average, I'd be one happy camper. Pretty much ready to move on to something that requires less time at the computer and figure this is selling high (as mentioned in the guide).
