Just read the whole 20 pages and I can say that CLP is really awesome. I am already sold. But I have some concern that I need some advice. I approach my AM from adscendmedia and ask her if I can use my own custom content locker and put adscend offers on it. Even though I know there's no problem about it, I just want to approach my AM about this cause you know as others are saying here, it is good to build relation to your AM and I think it would add trust and credibility for me if I would let them know every move that I am doing. Well to my shock, here's the response I got from her:

I am ready to buy this today just waiting for the confirmation from my AM and her response made me confuse. Upon reading the whole thread, I have seen some who are using adscend for this. Is this still applicable today?

Also is there others here who can vouch using adscend offers on CLP and still got paid?

I need some advice to convince me to buy this as I have a strong feeling that CLP will double up my current earnings. I will be totally legit (will not use fake/blank referrer) as I am already using there content locker to my site. I just want to replace it with CLP to see how things will go for me.

I honestly have no idea what she is talking about. As long as you can use the raw offer link (your affiliate link) then it will work fine with CLP. Whilst I don't use Adscend, I'm sure we've had other publishers use them and their offers with CLP.

There are plenty of other networks anyway. You're not getting the most out of CLP if you just use it with one network - you should test a few and see what works best.

Yes, CLP uses geo-targeting so will show offers based on a user's IP.

We've tested on most popular mobile browsers and the locker works fine. We can't guarantee it will work on every phone - but the most popular ones (iphone, blackberry, samsung etc.) are fine.

some cpa networks also deliver content locking for your site....does this allow you to stay under the radar or something? I want to try youtube as a traffic source, but I see that cpa company's (even with incent) don't like that, would this be solved with this tool?
Or do you suggest other networks? like ppd?

You can blank/fake the referrer which will get round issues with networks, but you still need to be careful. If you're using incent offers you should be okay. PPD offers tend to be more leniant with traffic sources so this could work well for you.

You should be sending users to a landing page of your own, so the fact you're getting traffic from YouTube shouldn't be a major problem anyway.

I saw in a post somewhere that someone was having problems with clp and the postback. You suggested that instead he just use the 2 minute timer. Does that just completely defeat the purpose of clp? I can set the timer on any of the free lockers. I'm looking for a true content locker that will only unlock when a conversion fires.

CLP supports onclick function... And I think they are very helpful setting up your content locker, I will also assure you that they will help you if you have problems on your postback. I'm using CLP with postback and its looking great from here.

Sure, there are no limits as to the number of domains/site you use CLP on. The only limitation is that you can have the admin interface (through which you set up and edit your lockers) installed on one location.
