It would depend on which country you are in. The US and Canada have national "do not call lists" which is suppose to stop telemarketing. Now whether you get in trouble and punished is another story. I don't speak for everyone obviously but the people that I know all hang up when they hear a recorded msg so I don't know how effective they really are.

Voice Broadcasting is a great way to make some quick cash ill give you one of my ways i use it to make good money with CPA i buy list of people who have requested info on lets say a sweepstakes or have been in one in the last 30-60 days for my autodialer i upload the phone list into my auto dialer i have a cheap 30 sec pro voice over message recorded fire it up my 30 sec message gets played to everyone on that list and if they are not home it will leave my message on there answering machine. there is serious money here if you do it right and no this is not aginst the law because the people you are calling put thier name on the list to be contacted just another offline cpa method im sure that no one is tapping into i have a system that can shoot out about 1,000 calls an hour so the people you can reach daily is insane.........and you know aswell as i do everything we do is a numbers game the person that can reach the most people 9 times out of 10 is gonna be the one that brings home the most coin!

can I pm you about your software? I have created automated phone tasks using autoit script and eyebeam/skype. The problem I have though is detecting if someone has picked up.
I also own a trixbox based PBX and around 1000 US DIDs.
Just remember what you asked in your original post...if you are using random numbers out of a phone book, make sure your ass is covered. Some people are relentless now when it comes to reporting telemarketers. Try everything you can to make money but be cautious.

i have a bunch of material that i need to put together in an ebook form ive been doing cpa aff. stuff for a while now and i do it pretty much all offline and voice broadcasting is one of my bread and butter i can put it all together and put it up forsale if anyone can tell me how to put things for sale here that would be great i understand i have to give a review copy to a mod wich i have no problem doing what so ever because i know my content is on point and i never suggest shit i simply write what i have done how i did it and i dont waste time talking about stuff i havent made serious coin with.....thanks for your time

what i suggest is you find numbers of people who own businesses since B2B calls are different that B2C along the lines of a DNC list. A great way to do this is to harvest numbers off of Who-is information and then call the ones that have a number. This is how many of those cold calling SEO companies work by using something called a voice shot which is just another name for a robo-call.

I was the head tech for a autodialer company many years ago. To answer your question It is against the law, it has always been against the law since the early 90's, it is legal for some non profit and for political campaigns, but they must also use a DNC list. As stated before if you have an existing business relationship with someone you can contact them via automated dialer.
If this is what you want to do then, just be careful, make sure you use a DNC list, you will still get complaints, just not as many. Don't give out your personal info in the broadcast. If you want to use a number just use a free voice mail service. If you own a carpet cleaning service just say we are running a special today, and you will have people leaving their name, most will tell you to f-off, add them to your DNC and move on.
Just so you know 50 to 60% of the numbers on your list will be on the DNC list, but if you have good software it should skip those numbers pretty quickly.
I also know someone that still dials and does not use the DNC he blocks his analog line(*67) then at the end of the day if he get's 10 leads, he just checks the leads against the DNC list, if they are there he doesn't call them back.

yeap i like autoitscript , it was my first language to programm in , its fast and easy, pm me too about this arthas, as i would like to program a script in autoit script to do this too.
