do micro niche sites still work?

MNS Still WORK.But you need to tweak it a bit.

Just keep one basic principle.Provide Visitor with Valuable info and you will benefit.

+1 to this. I know it doesn't sound very blackhat at all, but it really helps.

Or, do both together. Plan an authority site that covers 15-20 related niches. Write/order 5-10 articles per niche keyword, and re-write each one at least once. Put the originals on the authority site, and the rewrites on 15-20 different MNS separated by niche (or post the originals on the MNS, the rewrites on the AS). Make twice as much money, from one period of work. Sell either the MNS or authority site later, depending on your preference, while keeping the other for long term income.

interesting idea. just so i am clear on this. you are saying create an authority site that serves multiple related niches. Example, Car Accessories Site with articles about headlights, tailights, stereos, decals, body kits etc.

Then rewrite those articles and create a separate MNS for each category. So i'd then have an MNS for headlighs, tailights, steros decals, body kits. In the end I have 1 authority site and 5 MNS sites given my example.

Has anyone done this with success?

Make me think that maybe I should break up my existing authority site into multiple MNS sites.

Just make sure to use unique contents and MNS will definitely workout for you.

MNS are stils prifitable (for me) i make around 500$/ month with one website

Good job. Keep up the hard work. Are you investing your time in more articles or more sites?

Yup, that's the idea. Works best if it's planned from the outset to build the content for serving a dual role on both the MNS and AS side. But you probably could just break the AS up with rewrites so long as you did a fresh kw search to ensure the content could support the individual MNSs.

I don't suggest to start new micro niche for income. but if you build them you will be able to get some very targeted links.
Instead you can start another authority site. it will help you to increase the income.

Niche sites do still make money I have a few that gives me 1-2 a day. To be honest though you should just learn how to build your own niche sites because once you get the correct process down you can make an endless amount of niche sites that you can sell or keep for a nice passive income.

I still make good money from some MNS that I created some months back and not even had a look at them since a couple of months and still make me good money :)

Once you find a good micro niche that is making you money, then you need to scale it up and try to make it an authority site in that niche.

how do you turn a micro niche site into an authority site when you are targeting such a specific keyword? for example if you are targeting "honda civic tail lights" how can that become authority since the term is so narrow. i couldn't imagine writing more than a dozen articles if that on the topic.

"honda civic tail lights" will be your main keyword and try to rank it first. After that,if you don't find good long tails for keyword "honda civic tail lights",try to go a bit broader. In this case,we will be having keywords like "honda civic car parts","honda civic windshield wipers",etc. In this way,you will stay close to your niche and you will be able to expand reach of your site and hence the revenue.

Good Luck.

MNS definitely still work if you can do it in large quantities. Small quantities won't get you the earning you want and you will get discouraged. So if you can launch 10+ then I'd say ya go for it

when i create new articles. should i repeat the keyword in the url? for example,
site is hondacivictaillights.URL and the article is on "blue honda civic tail lights" should the url be:

hondacivictaillights.URL/blue
or
hondacivictaillights.URL/blue-honda-civic-tail-lights

or

It must be hondacivictaillights.URL/blue-honda-civic-tail-lights

what if an EMD is not available? Is it ok to get one with a hyphen in it? example, "hondacivic-headlights.URL" or "hondacivichead-lights.URL"

I don't know about google hardening on that....you can do what you were doing.....good luck to you.....

Hey guys. We are nearing the end of 2013 now. I wonder if Micro niche sites still work. Is anyone here who is successful with the same?

You can find many micro niche sites being sold on Flippa that make that $150 easily, so yes, micro niches are fine.
