My Eyes Hurt When I scroll Down/Up

When reading bhw (or any forum) the time I scroll down or up (from mouse) I start to feel pain in my eyes while looking at the screen. It frustrates me

Do you guys feel it or not ?

get some sleep dude. or throw water in your face, drink a refreshing tea, have a cold shower, meditate. you should be closing your eyes or getting up and walking around/ looking at something other than the computer screen at least every 20 minutes or you're just going to do harm to yourself.

My eyesight isn't the best but I don't have such issues. I would consider taking an eye test and if that isn't the case then you probably need to invest in a new monitor. Maybe you're sitting too close to the monitor? Or maybe you spend too much time in front of the computer? I used to have something similar, my eyes would get watery, but this would only happen if I played a game for too long where I'd literally stare at the screen. Either way, this doesn't sound good, go get yourself checked up.

Yeah take a break for the computer dude. I know what you are talking about cause I am currently experiencing it... IM can do it too you at times but you have to take care of your Machine (your body). Which means... yeah I will get to sleep here soon. But your eyes just need a rest they are attached by muscles and are tired/straining.

My eyes are quite bad but I don't feel that pain when scroling. By any chance you're playing WoW or similar ?

They have glasses especially designed for long computer use in mind, you could try those. Get a better resolution or larger display. If you went from a hard to a cold setting you could have strained your muscle glands it sounds like this is what you're describing it can be moderately painful. A coomon pain reliever will aid, I also suggest a break.:sheep:

Are you using F.lux? It dampens blue light from your pc screen and bathes it with a soothing incandescent light. It feel gorgeous. After using it 5 minutes your eyeballs will be like "Ahhhh!!". I keep mine on night mode all the time and never use my pc without it. You can find F.lux on this forum I believe. Also use palming. Use these two things and you may be able to eliminate your symptoms. If not. See an optometrist.

If you're viewing on a notebook turn it on it's side. Then you won't be scrolling up and down you'll be scrolling sideways and you'll be good to go... without pain!
