Not to beat a dead horse, but yes in the same boat. Was working fine before I installed the last few updates. Now, I'm barely getting and submissions or verified submissions. I'm sure it will get sorted though, just have to wait a bit.

Like to know if this update addressed the submissions problem? Please let us know.

I left GSA running for about ten days, checked it and half of my projects had less than 3 "submitted" (I understand the whole submitted/verified thing but that is not right - running since june) I restarted all the projects and overnight all my submitted numbers climbed up to above 20+
Wondering if I should restart daily now...

Worked for me, and i had the same issue as doepjohn. My submissions and verifications are flying once again

There was a lot of internal optimization done to the software on the last update and that has helped improved a lot of things.

1) for all the services GSA does what do you all find works best?
2) blog comments - how does GSA and SB compare? and am i right in thinking GSA is a poor mans SB?
3) tutorials - can anyone point me to some decent tutorials and videos?
4) GSA download link?

The only comparison with scrapebox is that they both can submit blog comments. GSA is not a version of scrapebox at all. GSA is good for blog commenting because it can filter out things you don't want much easier than doing it with scrapebox. For instance you can set it to comment to only 1+ PR pages and GSA checks before it posts and only posts if the PR is higher than 1. It does so much more than scrapebox (scrapebox does so much more than GSA as well) that there really isn't any comparison between the two tools.

Maybe a stupid question .... i just watched a basic intro video for GSA and the guy presenting the vid showed a very basic example of setting up a campaign for blog comments, trackbacks and pingbacks .... pretty simple stuff, he added his email info, keywords, titles and comments and hit start ... the only thing he didn't show was 'how does GSA know where to submit the comments/pings/trackbacks to?' he didn't say anything about scrapping the urls and then uploading them into GSA via a csv/txt file?

How does GSA know where to post the comments too?

boxes,red boxes,turtle boxes,I hate boxes

into the keyword field GSA will scrape sites with internal footprints for the selected target types using those 4 keywords.

Are you seeing good serp's using this tool?

I have a copy of SE Nuke X but had really crap results with it recently so have given up using it? im just wondering if GSA is performing and returning decent results or if people are just using it because its cheap?

Try to register phpbb but always get this error:captcha not solvable by service, whether use proxy or not.

I think it's not "always", but the type 5 captcha of CS.

Ever since Shanibpo went offline then came back my balance in GSA has been showing as 0. In addition, it no longer pulls from my balance and solves captchas (my balance never goes down and the "statistics" page shows no recent activity). This is happening on both my VPS and my home PC. Any help?

Are you sure your hosts file isn't modified?

I'm using ShaniBPO with GSA and my balance is showing and my credits get deducted as it solves captcha's. I don't think there is anything wrong with ShaniBPO/GSA. You might want to check your host file.

Anyone else having trouble with ShaniBPO?

Editing my post. Gotta give ShaniBPO some major props. Within minutes of my 3rd ticket we got it figured our. If anyone has this problem in the future and finds my post - try resetting your password on their website.

Please use thread search! The proxy topic is covered at least 10 times (!!!!!). You'll have a lot better results with private proxies. I'm using the ones from my signature.

I'd definitely invest in a spinning tool, i use 'the best spinner'. These tools are great investments, as when it comes to GSA, you'll easily be able to knock out spun text in a matter of seconds.

Hi

Does anyone know how much data is supposed to be downloaded by using the search engine ranker.

I ask because I have been running it for a few days just from a home connection and have a set amount of download usage per month, on Sunday I received a notice that I had used 50% of my allowance, which wasnt a problem, Search engine ranker was left running overnight and on Monday I had a 75% notice, the 25% difference is pretty much 50gb of data transfer.

There was also other things dowloading so not all related to running SER, so just to try and gauge how much data is being transferred by SER, everything else was disabled, and just SER was running for 5 minutes, during in this 5 minute period there was around 250mb of data transferred which seems quite excessive and I am trying to figure out if that is normal, or if ive really messed up with the settings on the software and somthing I have configured wrong is causing it to excessivley transfer data.

If anyone has any tips that may help to reduce this transfer, it would be much appreciated

Just download the free version of SpinnerChief or SpinChimp. I like the free version of SpinChimp more.

You can lower your "threads to use" (options --> submissions) and set the "maximum file size of a website to download" to ~5 MB (options --> filter). I hope this helps.
