Noob makes more than $600,- in 5 days

I had a spare, or rather a 'not money making' domain + hosting (see my sniper site thread on the affiliate forum).

I didn't now what to do with it and I didn't got any reactions on my thread. So I began to experiment. I had the stupid idea, I thought, to exactly clone the website of the product that I had a sniper site for and put it on my own domain. Sales page, pictures, the whole nine.

I had nothing to lose, so why not?

So I deleted my WP google sniper blog and content, searched a high ranking keyword for the product, bought a domain which contained the keyword, downloaded the original product site with HTTrack, cloaked 'buy now' links, uploaded it all with filezilla, googled a free adwords coupon, made a small capaign, put it on imtalk for 1 or 2 keywords and that was it.

I went on a weekend trip with my girl and forgot about the whole thing untill 30 minutes ago. Logged in to clickbank and there it was... More than 600,- from that site alone!

Nothing special and the work I put in was almost zero. So should I keep the site up or is it better to take it down? What do you guys think?

most of those clickbank sales sites have videos. Was HTTrack able to download the video as well? Or was it just a simple embed code?

What did you use to cloak the buy link? Did you add the link after you got approved for AdWords? I'm asking because in another thread alot of people are having problems with using adwords coupons and selling clickbank products.

I believe that's the trick. If your site looks more of an affiliate one then adwords will decline your ads. If your site seems to be however selling its own product then you will pass manual ad review. Using cloakers is the best way.

To download the video I used a firefox plugin.
The buy links I cloaked online at clickfire

So far I used 2 adwords coupons.

I also have a 'review' site for more products.
For the reviews I just copy/past bits, pieces and testimonials from the sales page.

And why should you take the site down? One fact is that you are bringing sales for them and they make money off you, why should they bother? If they once contact you and come with copyright issues etc. just delete the site. Harvest the most money possible of it!

How do you redirect people? I mean you need to create a hop don't you? And this is only doable by linking them to the sales page. And if they click buy now and will be redirected to exactly the same sight, I won't think there is any conversion...

Could someone enlighten me on this, please?

Sorry for being blunt but I suspect that you really made any money at all if you followed this method. Because:
1. You are telling me that you outranked other competitors and websites including product's own website for they keyword and got on top 1 position. I am a google sniper myself and I know that it takes time and effort to gain #1 Spot (getting on page 1 is easy but it won't get you any good traffic)

2. Google is strict on adwords coupons accounts and won't approve any of your campaign unless you add reall credit card . I tried it using private VPN and with every precaution none out of my 10 accounts went live.

Someone pointed it out that it seemes the magical powers of vacation. I do agree . lol.

Get your affiliate link for the product you want to use and click on it so you will go to the vendor's page.Than press buy button you will be redirected to billing page.Make sure your affiliate id is there in bottom,if it is just copy the url of this billing page.You done so this way when they press buy button on your site they will be redirected to the billing page with your affiliate cookie.

Offcourse not.
Since this is a clickbank product, when they click the buy now button, they are send to the buy now page, not the official and exact same sales page.

I don't even now what a hop is. I'm a total noob remember

Just redirect them directly to the buy now page of the official website, only with your cloaked link. That's all and it it isn't that difficult.

Do some research.

Dude. Everything about outranking you complained about is ultra subjective and relative to the product or keyword, i mean, duh.
Also you can just use a prepaid debit card with like nothing on it. Its super easy to scam.
