Oh hells yeah - thanks to you Po, and the rest of the staff, its been and continues to be fantastic to work with you guys on BHW. And the ideas and sharing have without a doubt got me this far, the rest I'll leave for irc

I'll start counting down my hours and delving into more method and traffic specific details tomorrow when I hit the office. I wanted to cover a few points on what I consider to be a successful IM earning system and that will be applied to this specific target. Some of these have been learned by experience, some taught, and some are aspiration.
People talk about working 18 hours days. I don't subscribe to this. You cannot peak code for more than 3 hours at a time with a break in between, at least you can't if you want to maintain a stable and regular workflow. Working for days straight will burn you out and cause you to take more time away from work than slow and steady progress which is measured and noted. (This is a challenge for the ADHD people, myself included)
While I do see that making these numbers with BH methods is certainly possible, its a logistical nightmare. You have more than being banned from an offer/network to worry about. In a 1k+ a day system, you can have a variety of choke points all of which are susceptible to a complaint. Typically BH methods will also involve using siphoned second party traffic (ie you grab leads via another site without making a payment, youtube, twitter, cl etc), this is prone to tightened site security which can knock you down for days, weeks, months, or forever. The you have the issue of scale, with the added risk factor, BH methods can run into earnings ceilings, above which your chance of getting shut down exponentially multiply. Of course I'm sure some BHW members run vastly beyond my skill levels and have mitigated these problems, but for my part, where I see unreasonable amounts of hassle I want to move up a few levels - in this case WH.
Unlike previous systems I have worked on, this time I will be hitting all niches within the affiliate space which I come across. Getting locked into one vertical, ie dating, limits your ability to see the bigger picture, which is that, all we trade in is data and potential consumers for products. Dating is no different to Payday is no different to Car Insurance.
There are many ways to think outside the box. I like to snoop. If I find an offer I like, I look which networks have it, see where its being displayed for ideas I may not have had, back trace to affiliate sites promoting it. Check the social, video, and blogspaces for mentions of it. Check scam/fraud sites for any listings. Look at parent companies and the master originator of the offer. Examine the offer, look for where its sending its data, is it a higher tier advertiser which posts to a larger company. All of this data allows me to get a bird's eye view, and from there, spot the gaps. It's amazing how often I find would be BH sites, which could be WH with minimal work. When it comes to traffic, you do the exact same, see where it's getting mentioned, see how is providing their advertising spots, signup, measure arbitrage rates, note, repeat. This is a simple outside of the box/bigger picture method, there are many more and i'll cover them as and when I have to use them.
I plan to work 6-8 hours a day on code/development, Monday through Friday, this does not include posting on BHW, checking chive, or anything other than actual code time, I will be using a stopwatch. Sure I think about code, and have ideas during my off time, and I note these to my notes app for later review. I do this in the pub, I do this in the toilet, I do this at 5am when I wake up with a new epiphany. Inspiration is all around, so you HAVE to get off the net and out in the sunshine. A healthy life, with interests other than just computers will make you progress quicker, and ensure you don't burn out. Hells even simple TV adverts give you ideas and sites to later check out - always have your radar up.
Sorry to the guys who asked about the $100 a day things I did. This was years ago now, and there are still easily 100 separate methods on BHW which work well for this. Pick 5, do them, backup and scrap the worst performing 3. Add another 5 methods, while tweaking the remaining first 2. Do this for three months if you can code/make sites, or six months if you need to learn basic internet skills, and you will 100% hit a stable $100 a day. Its getting trapped in one traffic source / vertical that destroys development - mix it up as much as possible. The more time you spend at this, the quicker you will develop your own twists to take you to $500, and your own methods to take you up and past the 1k mark.

I dont buy lists, I generate my own via fully complaint methods. There will be a lot of discussion on this subject later on. As to earnings right now its about 20%.

Im taking the raw 10k hours figure, as I've 10 years prior to IM as a professional webdev. Add to that three years in IM. I'm not starting as a novice, so I learn at a quick rate and have already made loads and loads of mistakes the more of which you make the quicker you develop.

May I ask if you use a software or a script to send these emails and can you share the name of them ?
The reason I'm so curious is because I have JVed with someone before and he was making a killing emailing with me for a 80-20 split and I have always wanted to break off on my own.

I only use my own software for all client interactions, obv i use tools when building sites etc tho.

The first phase will have upwards of 300 sites. I'd expect to have a couple thousand by the end of the process. There is a lot automation here, and i'll discuss this in more depth on the days when I'm working on automation.

so basically find out what works (which you have done) automate it as much as you can then, upscale.
how are you monetizing? CPA? Clickbank?
