Hi everyone, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm hoping to get some advice. As a beginner, how much should I ideally spend in order to promote my YouTube channel? Thank you

Technically how high quality is your content for your specific niche. $200 spent can yield any return, as it depends on niche, content, and psychology. It may sound dumb at first, but expect the lowest response possible on YouTube if you know your content is not up to par with the idiots that get front page (the legit idiots). Personally for every 60 hours per minute on YouTube uploaded everyday, 59 hours, 58 minutes, and 30 seconds is pure and utter crap. So take it from me, if your content is no where near Freddiew content, then you aren't going to get much from YouTube in a reasonable amount of time. If you just want to rank videos based on views for money, technically look at your target niche, see video quality, feedback, views, etc.

Invest into a comment rater bot so you can advertise your channel all around youtube.
That is all you really need..or create top comments manually.
Just remember, You get what you put in. You might make allot of money off a low investment but not allot of people do.

Thank you for the awesome advice. With regards to comment rating, how effective is it? Is it considered spam and can my account get banned? Oh and bare in mind I'm not looking to make any money via YouTube, I'm just hoping to become famous lol

just buy 1m views for 1000 bucks lol. if u get it from the right provider, adsense will give you 920-3000 dollars worth of motorization. .
That is possibly the dumbest advice that I've read all day. Adsense will realize that the views are fake and ban you from both Youtube and Adsense in a heartbeat.
