GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

Sometimes i wish i never update.

I seem to be having a real problem since the last couple of updates, barely getting any new submissions. I'm using lists, and when i begin, it'll work as normal, then a couple of minutes later, get stuck on verifying links for ages. Previously, I'd expect to get at least 2000 verifications overnight; last night i got 43, and that's with the last verification being received over 3 hours ago.

It was all good just a week ago :(

There's definitely something up. I have GSA SER installed on 2 VPS's, and despite them both 'apparently' verifying links for over an hour now, with the last log update being over an hour ago, there CPU usage stands at roughly 80% and RAM usage is at roughly 1GB, and the program is literally just sitting there, doesn't seem to be verifying links at all.

an rss feed directory submission module would be really cool...

so when u running a project with your moneysite you could choose the rss directory submission too and ur feed url from the moneysite could be submitted to a lot of rss directories too...

would love that feature

I have noted this aswell GSA starts out verifying links "round 1' and after an hour or so it seems its through with it and suddenly it says "round 4327" or similar. It then goes to work on one url for every 10 seconds or so. At that point i take the verification thing as done and will cancel it and start submitting again. This actually happened already before the latest updates. On the other side my updated GSA submits pretty good as always and there are verifieds as usual, maybe your proxies no good. Check them in scrapebox instead of gsa

Does anyone know where i can buy site lists fpr social bookmarking sites and website directories?

i only found something on fiverr...

thx

ok, on the subject of email, again.

Some platforms require a real email address, i.e Not hotmail, gmail, etc, in order to bypass their antispam measures. In many cases they don't actually use it for registration/verification purposes so giving a fictitious "real" email address like abcdeATvwxyzDOTcom is sufficient. Is there any way to set up SER to only use hotmail/gmail accounts where verifications are needed, and use a fictitious real email address elsewhere? Or is this something that could be added to SER?

I'm pretty sure that GSA already does generate random emails for certain platforms and mainly using your email for registrations that require verification. I'll have to ask Sven again but I thought this was how it worked.

[small suggestion]project background color alternates from green to red if project has no more urls (site lists) to post to and/or email is known as spam. mouse hover the project to get the reason of the problem[/suggestion]

[suggestion]Essentially, I would be looking to only use a gmail/hotmail account where target sites require account confirmation/verification, and the rest of the time just use fake, but real looking, addresses.[/suggestion]

+1 For me too.

I'll send these.

450 threads, 120 SE's. 50+ Projects. Timeout 180. 8 Private Proxies.

Can I drop the custom time to below 5s? Or is that the lowest it should go? Can I take it to 2s? What's the lowest you guys are running this at?

That's really something you have to play around with and test out for yourself. I've never taken it under 5 but that's because I never felt I needed to. Give it a shot and see how it works.

Hi S4ant0s.

"Ya Sven said he changed it a bit. He said he set it to"auto modify=2". 2 will not change much (just very long sentences).

That's exactly what he told me. I'm not sure if that will help out or not, I haven't had a chance to test it."

Ok, yeah it's helped a bit but it still does insert linebreaks. I change the auto modify to 0 so that it doesn't work, but after each update I have to go back in and change it again. Maybe a GUI option to turn it off would be good. Or just stop it completely, I don't really see the point of it, especially if you use spintax!

Ya I'm not a fan of the link breaks either. I'm almost 100% positive this will not help with duplicate content. I guess someone mentioned to him it does help with duplicate content.

I'll have to send Sven a message on this. It's running fine on my 2 VPS and has been running overnight but I'll be sure to send him your problem and see if there's anything he can tweak. You might have to backup your projects as usual so I can send it to him.

Stuff like this is a lot easier to get added if you actually provide a list of the RSS directories, footprints, etc to minimize the research time it takes for Sven to add this stuff.

Can someone assist me with the following questions?
1) Can you advise me or point me to a video or doc on how to EFFECTIVELY use paste.bin or sitelists? Do these add value as surely if it is an open list, it will already be heavily spammed? I want to use the tool to post to good sites that aren't spammy.
2) If I am promoting a .com site to US users and a .co.uk site to UK users and I build up a set of site lists lists. (advanced settings, save URL's). Let's say I want to promote a second .co.uk site, is there a way for it to only submit to .co.uk sites in the site list? (would the best way be to add !.co.uk under words in URL list?)
3) In the GSA video's it says to use max 50OBL links for quality sites. A few forum members recommended me changing it to 100 as many sites have adverts that count as links and would then get filtered out. What's your take on changing it from 50 to 100 OBL for the main site?
4) I have set the download site size to 2mb. Will this have a negative impact? I don't want sites with 1000's of comments only high quality sites and this seems like an effective way to reduce time the program spends analysing sites that have lots of comments and thus will exceed the 2mb. (i.e. stop it downloading 10mb's only to filter out the site because of comments!)

Thanks! This is a fantastic tool...just takes a little bit of time to find out how to use all the awesome features!

1) I haven't created a video for this yet but I guess I need to. I know Sven has been adding/changing things with the features so I wanted to make sure most of the advanced features were done before making a video for it.

2) Yep adding the !.co.uk would probably be best unless you have a tool like Scrapebox where you can filter them first and then add to GSA SER.

3) It shouldn't say to use a max 50 OBL, that's a demonstration of how it was done on my sites. I've gone between 50 and 100 and it should be fine either way. Just remember 100 is a max so even though you set it to 100, you most likely won't be getting pages with close to that many OBL.

4) Someone mentioned lowering the download size is better for importing list. The OBL filter should filter out sites with 1,000's of links so I wouldn't worry abou that. You can do it either way. I've haven't got a chance to play around with it too much so its been set on the default number.

The best thing to do is to test and play around with settings to see what works best for you. Of course, if you discover something that works great, come back and share.

Possible Feature Request:
I have around 30 sites that I have setup campaigns for. I have grouped them per website and then each has around 4 sub projects.
I.e. Site 1, Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, Project 4, etc.

I then minimise the Group so then I have 30 lines (rather than 120-150). BUT then you can't see if it's added any verified or submitted links as this area remains blank. I would like it to show the totals of all projects within the group. This way, I can see which Group is getting all the links and if a groups links are not being generated, I can then troubleshoot that group and go through those sub projects.

This way, I can have a quick look at the 30 groups and get a quick overview of the status of each group without having to expand each group.

ALSO
It would be nice to have a little report you can select (Maybe on the right of the help icon :-) ) It would have a tab for last 24 hours, last week, last month. It would then show you a tally of all verified and submitted links it created and their PR. OR even better would be a dropdown to select group or project to see a summary (i.e. it applies a filter to only show the results from the group or that project, or all)
e.g.
Submitted Verified
PR0 - 1200 300
PR1 - 765 238
PR3 - etc etc

This would just allow us to identify once per week what groups/projects are no longer generating links or generating them very slowly and assists in identifying which groups or projects where we can focus our time.

Just my two cents worth. The tool is fantastic as it is...

I can confirm this. If you take a look in some scripts you'll see that GSA uses the %random_email% variable or if it needs to register with an existing email it uses %your e-mail%.at S4ntos: can you create an article submission video, too if you find some time? I'm interested to see how to add different articles in one file as source. Is it even possible to use html operators in these files (font size, colors,...)?

Somewhat similar. It stays verifying, but doesn't actually seem to verify any links, i.e. hardly any new verified links are added to the window on the right. I've just reinstalled the program on one of the VPS's, and it's been verifying for the last hour, and has only found 2 links for the 60+ projects it's currently verifying for, when there should be hundreds more. It flys at the start, then crawls a little while later, as though the thread count had been set to 1.

Is there anything wrong with GSA ?

The program is very slow and It almost doesn't add any links :|
I haven't change anything... my friends also are having the same problem

Program is working fine for me. 99% of the time when I look at the project of a user who says this its due to settings.

That's strange you said that.
I haven't change my settings it was working fine but when I upgrade it started to happen this.
This also happen on my VPS(I run the program on my VPS and my PC)

Seems like the poster above you, Freedom, is having the same problem as us also.

I've noted down all of this stuff and I'll send it to Sven tonight so he can take a look into it. It's Sunday so he isn't around but hopefully by tomorrow if there is anything wrong he will have it figured out.

Can you post a list of what all the program does? I've been trying to figure out all the things it does.

So far I see it can do blog comments, create some profile links, and bookmarks. Still don't quite understand what it does on PDF sites.

Does it create web 2.0s, post to article directories, etc.?

Thanks.

Just download the free trial. It's far to complex by now to describe all functions in a few words. The trial is without restriction and works for 5 days.

is there a way to find a log for what the passwords and usernames were my VA screwed up big time.
