I don't think I have tried any of them. Can you post the URL's here. I wouldn't mind looking them over. Are these sites that if you tweet something for them they tweet for you? Some of these are worthless because it comes from the website and leaves a footprint.

I almost missed your question. I don't go for a set number of articles. I just make sure each page is accurate content and is honestly for the lookers. I do use all the underline, bold, H2 tags etc on each page to optimize. Honestly I just make sure I am in the yellow or green in the yoast pluggin. Sometimes I only have 300 words on a page and sometime 800. But no matter how many pages I have I make sure they are all interlinked somehow. Each page in the content links to at least one other page along with an outside source. I am going to start an experiment her in a few days. I just had 6 MN sites made for me. I am going to take three and add more pages and let the others just go and see which ones rank better. Once I start this I will post the thread here also for people to follow.

Great post - only problem for me is the setup time. Writing all those articles for a easy-medium comp keyword seems like too much work. Also constructive criticism - you should test that campaign on 1 month drip instead of 2 to see the results. I still blast multiple tiers of links in 1 day, then index them over a few days and see good results. I think "natural velocity" isn't necessarily 2 months... I.e. a commerical would perhaps get you a ton of links overnight. If we are to believe Google analyzes our Backlink profiles as a whole, link velocity may not be as important as you think.... So long as you don't build 1000 links all indexed in 1 day then stop.

The two month outline as I said in my post is up to you but I truly recommend it. You change dates and times as you see fit. I use two months because I want it to be more natural. What you are recommending though is old school SEO! I am not trying to offend you in any way but the way you are doing it might bring your sites up for a little bit but in my experience they usually drop hard. I am looking to sustain my sites for a long period of time. This has been working for me so that is all I have to say on the outline itself.

I am not saying the G is almighty but they pay out millions and millions to collect data. The G knows how many people go to your website. This is easy. If people are using their browser they can collect this data along with time on site, alexa, and all of the historic data not to mention things like google analytics and adsense. Don't you think it is strange if you only had 5 people on your site that day but have gotten 300 links. I also believe many peoples websites drop because after time when the G crawls the links themselves they can pick up the date it was posted/when it was indexed and do simple calcualtions. Now I am not saying they will smack your site off the bat but if they see a linking pattern as 500 links one day and 500 links in two weeks and so on and no steady increase of back links then this is a red flag. A steady increase of links is always better than just blasting away!

Now talking about keywords. This is all up to you on what you do. Can this work on high ranking keywords. Of course if you have enough links going to it but remember SEO is different now. You cant just blast 1000 links to one keyword and think this is going to last. IT WILL NOT... I would rather go for 10-15 different keywords mixed with easy to medium keywords along with all the BS in between like click here etc.

Almost forgot; my keywords mostly hit page one within a month.

Remember that Google can't index all the links fast, even if you try really hard. I start building links slow, but on aged sites (even ones only 1-3 months old), I have seen great results building a lot of links at once (over a few days), tiering / indexing them, and then setting up additional to "drip", and social signals / shares (generally to subpages) to avoid a complete drop off on the graph.

For example I bought 25 Pogiboys (with a super spun article) a month ago, blasted them a some high PR comments, and when I checked only maybe 50% were indexed.

So first I spun an article and distributed it to my Tier 2 High pr network, alternating which property got a backlink. Then I built 1000 (<- Note - I included some other tier 1 links in here to dilute the number of links each received.) wikis to them using a generic (click here, etc) and LSI keywords, then blasted those wikis with 5000 (<- only 5 comments to each Tier 2 property) comments.

At this point I have a press release syndicated on a several high end sources, I blast those with a few high PR comments to get them all indexed. I build a few links from my blog network using unique articles, a variety of anchors, rotating with subpages, etc. Blast the network posts with 200 wikis, then 1000 high pr comments on tier 3. During this, I'm copying as many competitor comments as I can, using "natural" anchors as the name etc. and building high pr Wikis to the homepage/subpages.

I could go on... sorry this post is so long lol. I'm not going to reveal the market, but it's definitely hard if not super-hard competition. After doing the above, along with some small-scale fiverr gigs, and other various "natural" style link building, I've seen some good rank increases. Of course I do agree, you have to keep building links, or you will fall off the map eventually.

One more thing... if I'm tiering with profiles, web 2.0s, etc. I always make the username "relevant", and/or the title of the article "relevant", etc... this way it's harder for Google to pass the Penguin penalty down the pyramid.

LOL, If you believe you have the answer that works for you more power to you. I don't need to argue with you because I know my method works. HERE ARE MY FIRST TWO SENTENCES IN MY THREAD! First off I would like to say there are many different methods to rank websites. This method that I am about to go over is very basic but it works. I hope you stay in the rankings and more power to you. This thread is meant to help people that are unsure were to start. So if you would like to layout your plan in your own thread to help people go right ahead!

P.S. I don't go off assumptions. I go off of what has been working for me. But yes I have my own theories of why it works.

Haha that post was really too long... sorry about that. Your method will/does work GREAT... it's essentially as "white hat" as it gets around here . I just had to throw a little black into the mix.

There's a lot more to my method that I didn't want to write, hopefully I didn't confuse anyone lol. Use Cloakme's method, then tier it again for extra results! :typing:

SEO-addict's method might work for him but it is easier to be caught up in algo changes. If you take your time and do things as outlined you will have less of a chance to get smacked by G. There are always going to be reach arounds to gain rank quick but once G catches up to them your up the creek without a paddle. I don't know about you but I don't want to keep rebuilding sites over and over again.
