Proxy Tool Addon for Firefox and Chrome

This tool didn't work for me. I checked my ip address on many site and they were all my own and not from the tool. Any ideas?

User Interface:

The user interface is very simple and has an intuitive way of managing your proxy related needs. After you install the plugin, the first thing you may notice after Firefox is restarted is the red "H button at the bottom right side of the browser.

That button is Proxy Tool's default button and shows that the proxy service is stopped.

To activate the proxy, simply click on the red "H" button to green "H" button as shown here:

Question: Are you using real, paid working proxies from BHW proxy providers here? It is the only way to get the proxy tool FF addon to work correctly with working proxies.

i've try this addone with chatroulette in order to see if that is safe enough. In 15mn I was ban .
Even with an other IP, i can't reconnect until 1500mn...

if you use paid proxies, you can switch proxies using Shift + S - Rotate proxy command for every session.

They (Mozilla) put 1.18v into "development" version due to the small issue with the Proxy Tool FF addon code. We are working on getting 1.18v version fixed to satisfy Mozilla's requirements.

It depends on many factors.

1) Do you have other proxy related addons? If yes, disable these addons.
2) Public proxies or private proxies? Public proxies tend to be slower than private proxies.
3) If you are using Private proxies, are they dedicated or shared? Shared proxies tend to be slower.
4) Malware/Virus running on your PC?

Proxy Tool FF Addon 1.19v addon is submitted to Mozilla yesterday, after many users reported the bugs with 1.18v version.

Plus, Mozilla development people (they are nice people!) said that we need to improve the coding to the 1.18v version to make it more robustness due to the many FF browser versions that need to be compatible.

I'll update on this thread after Mozilla approved the 1.19v version upgrade for public release.

There will be 1.20v version in few months to deal with the new features per many user's requests, which will help everyone big time.

There's the old Proxy Tool addon for Chrome. We stopped the proxy tool Chrome version development last year due to the "locked" features that can not be modified, unlike Firefox/WaterFox browser.

Heck, you can use Firefox browser, and emulate it like Chrome browser using proxy tool FF addon by changing the user agent to Chrome.
