GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

Whoop whoop whoop, GSA kicks some serious butt!
Since I started using it, about 2 weeks ago, this is the effect on my sites: 1 site is now PR 1(site is 2 months old), another PR 1( this site is 3 months old) another 2 sites PR 2 ( these sites are 4 months old) and another site, all of a sudden, PR2 ( this site was PR 0 for over a year now!) I am amazed!
My set up:
I disable G, Y and B engines at least 5/6 days a week.
I use 10 private elite proxies ($20 monthly) but I noticed the ones on BHW also work very good if I rotate them.
I use the captcha service shaniBPO, sometimes I spend 5 minutes doing them manually. I was planning on getting their captcha service and use shani as a back up but haven't got around to it yet.
For articles, I uploaded some content from each site, and put some spintax, nothing fancy.
The sites I wanted rated first have some blogs built around them (volarex-fiverr) then the blogs are being blasted heaviest, set at PR 0 and everything open ( I suspect some of the links are in porn or viagra blogs)
The money sites have a setting of PR1+

Make sure to disable G though, my GSA wasn't working properly until I did this
Oh, and use the proxies ONLY for posting, not searching.
Thanks to Ozzmannor and Santos for earlier help and tips.

I hope GSA keeps rocking like it has!

That's awesome. Thanks for coming and sharing your results so far. I'm sure Sven will be happy to see that.

3.92 - new: less CPU usage (e-mail checking)

There is a bug in checking proxies - if you change the way the two urls you check against are - it will fail the best private proxies. I've changed the first one to google and the second one - I've added http:// and it fails all proxies. Changing it back to the original - first: http://www.bing.com/ and second: microsoft.com "fixes" it...

S4nt0s - Any news on the posting issue for wikis? I changed the ini files so that it didn't automatically insert line breaks but I noticed I have to change it again after the update!

That is how its suppose to work. For the second box you enter in a "string" not necessarily a URL. You can right click on the page and go to "view page source" and find a string to use. For example a string like, "http://go.microsoft.com" should work with http://www.bing.com

At least that's how I understand it to work but I could be wrong. Maybe some people who are more experienced with proxy checkers can chime in.

Ya Sven said he changed it a bit. He said he set it to"auto modify=2". 2 will not change much (just very long sentences).

That's exactly what he told me. I'm not sure if that will help out or not, I haven't had a chance to test it.

Ranking #8 for my keyword now :)
Used to be #9 a day or so ago, and #11 before I started using GSA SE Ranker.

I will continue to post an article every week and blast my tier 1 with links to the money site or inner page or another web 2.0s :)
We'll see.

I'm trying to search site lists using the multiple sites feature but i can't get it to work.

First i go to Settings->Advanced->Tools->Search Online for site lists->Add predefined footprints->Choose "Paste-Sites"->Select All Sites
Then i put my footprints in the Textbox.

When GSA starts, it queries the search engines using only the footprints e.x. inurl:"member.php" instead of using site:pastebin.com inurl:"member.php"

What i'm doing wrong?

Just wondering how SER works when we import our own target urls. I get the bit about disabling all the search engines etc. If I just import a list containing all the links that point to a competitor is it going to be able to run through that list and attempt to identify and post regardless of the platform/engine it uses? Or do I have to work with lists that are broken down by platform/engine? Furthermore, again when using our own lists, does SER adhere to the criteria we set in the options panel regarding minimum/maximum PR and OBL, etc or would they be overridden?

I'm not sure if it's just me, but after the latest updates I'm just cruising!

Found this little bit to chew on:

If you've imported a list of Target URLs, it will attempt to identify them. As a check, you could sort them, to see if they are supported by GSA using Options>> Advanced >> Tools >> Import URLs, but it's not usually required.

It will use the selected options (e.g. min OBL/PR ) when posting.

I just pasted this into the Footprint, and it scraped Ok:
Code:
site:pastebin.com
site:pastebin.ca
site:pastebin.me
site:paste2.org
Try changing the search engines (Check by Country: USA) and/or disabling proxies.

Perhaps my feature request was a little bit wrong. In "search for site lists" we don't need a "pause", what we need is is a stop button who saves the current state and alows to update SER and continue after restarting it. In my example I'm at about 10%, harvested 972k urls (of course with a loooooooot duplicates) and have only the chance to stop the whole thing and start over when I want to update SER or wait till it's finished (needs days). It would be also nice to auto remove duplicates because with such amounts Ultra Edit comes to it's borders with sorting/removing duplicates.

If you don't scrape on the fly (while posting), i would always suggest to export all the footprints and load them into hrefer with a good public proxy source - it's so much faster and you can keep GSA running instead of scraping (+removing dups on the go). Then identify the raw scrapes, load the URLs and rock'n'roll!

Thanks for your feedback. My problem is that SB doesn't support mutiple footprints (only keywords). I don't have HREFER (and I'm usure if it would be a clever idea to buy Xrumer only for HREFER). What I read the optinions are very differnt what's better SB or HREFER. Of course paralell to "search for sitelists" mutiple instances of SB are running and are farming for URL's. I think the more the better. But "search site lists" is a lot more powerful than it looks for this "a little bit hidden tool".

Your footprint example won't give you good results with pastebin & co. If you are using a footprint as in your example than it will only finds "pastes" on pastebin where someone hast postet his footprints with "inurl:memberDOTphp" in it. You have to cut out the "inurl:" to get good results because then you get the pastes with "memberDOTphp" and not "inurl:memberDOTphp". Before I start using the "online site list" feature I try the footprint with g00gle and check the results (site:pastebinDOTcom "memberDOTphp"). I also use mostly only one SE (g00gle Int) for searching online lists because most pastes should be indexed by g00gle. It won't hurt to use some other international SE though like Bing or Yahoo, but I don't know if that gives you better results. To use localized SE and more than one g00gle SE like g00gle US/UK makes no sense to me as the results you get shouldn't be any different to g00gle INT but I could be wrong here.

You can scrape multiple footprints by using the M(erge) button, so all of the footprints are in the Keywords section.

Thanks :))))) I've always overlooked this possibility. Now only 1 mio harvested url's is the limit with SB.

I have 3.82 version and tried to update it to 3.92, but every time download window just disappear during this proccess. What can I do to update it? I have never had any problems with GSA before.

yes, that is correct, the second box is a search string that SER checks exists on the returned page, this helps remove some of the proxies that are designed to replace pages u are searching for, with pages of their own (ie ads, CPA, etc..)

@santos

I've noticed that when you select Options >> Advanced >> Tools >> Search Online for site lists >> 'Add Predefined Footprints' >> Choose Paste Sites (and select paste sites), it does not add them to the Footprint.

I think this is a bug. What do you think?
im not s4nt0s, but this had me going for a bit too, i can confirm that when u select the pastebin sites, it intentionally does nothing until u add a predefined SER footprint to search for, then it adds the pastebin site/s to those footprints, which makes sense as otherwise u are not really searching for anything in particular :)
