Help! make money blogging!

Hello there friends! Yuvraj here from Nepal. I'm a newbie here trying to make money online since lots of years. I don't know the exact method to make money online. But as I'm fascinate about web design and development, i have stepped in to make money online through blogging and decided to make money through blogging only. So I've bought a domain and hosting and installed a wordpress on it.
Actually the wordpress site which I'm going to make is about the going green niche. As i have done all the basic setup like wordpress installation and all that. Now i wanna know is what is the exact way to make money online through blogging. I don't know anything much more about is. Useful guides and suggestion will be helpful like which essential plugins, themes would be useful and all that ??
please let me know the basic step after wordpress installation so that i can go in a very systematic way to make money online through blogging.

Apply and get a Google adsense account. Every online bloggers will be having a adsense account because they are the primary source of income for all blogs.
 
I advice to read topics here, because BHW is simply repository of wisdom!

I was into green niche too, that's great for monen-making, because you can participate in very lucrative affiliate programs!
 
thanks kruczy!! but I'm just confused wht to do ? i don't know the step by step procedure! so i don't know where to start from. I have domain and hosting ready and wordpress has also been installed. But I can't step forward. So inorder to step forwards please guide me !

I will tell you what to do, but I need URL of your blog and I need to know what it will be about.
 
Nice niche! Start small, write articles, grow in size, scale things up, make money from ads. Sounds hard, and it actually is. But it's nothing that you can not achieve. Keep working, keep testing testing testing! Eventually, things will start rolling.

This is how i would do it

Step 1 : Add content
Step 2 : Making sure i get visitors (submit it to google, ping it)
Step 3 : Making links to the site (best is from related nisches)
Step 4 : Analyze the trafic, what are they searching for, how could you earn from that
Step 5 : Make searches on internet, after ads revelant to your nische or just get a Adsense account and try it out

Step 0 : Do keyword discovery - Kind out what keywords are optimal for your website
Step 1 : Add content - Content needs to solve users problems. Lots of problems to solve in the go green niche!
Step 2 : Making sure i get visitors (submit it to google, ping it)
Step 3 : Making links to the site (best is from related nisches) -
Step 3.1: When making links, make sure you develop a natural link profile
Step 4 : Analyze the trafic, what are they searching for, how could you earn from that - Review affiliate sites for possible products... Also when you type in the keywords, review the Paid ads that are in google and those are the products people may want.
Step 5 : Make searches on internet, after ads revelant to your nische or just get a Adsense account and try it out

There are many other steps, but these are an ok start.

Some solid advice. I would also ask you to read problogger and copyblogger. They give good tips for those who want to try out blogging.
 
To start with: Sign up for hosting (I recommend Hostwinds) and install Wordpress (through cPanel, auto-install script).
Before all that, register a domain at Namecheap.

make 8 posts a day and purchase your traffic and social ques install SEO plugin on wordpress
practice deep linking
blast twitter
one night a week
 
1. Ok, so as people above me said you need keyword research. Think about this, not like 5 minutes and 'done'. This is extremaly important step. You can simply do this using Google Keywords Tool.

2. After this, search for the relevant WordPress theme. You can check for the free ones (I advice to check SmashingMagazine for these, they post X best free themes of the something). If you are ok with buying one - just go to themeforest/woothemes/elegantthemes.

3. Edit theme, to look as you want. Put search box and social bookmarking somewhere in the top (because your site will be a social beast - I had one eco site, and I must admit that ecopeople love to connect with each other ;) ). Dont forget about the footer - it's the most used spot in professional design!

4. Add some plugins, this is my list:
*Yoast SEO - for SEO purposes
*Akismet - antispam
*BackWPup - for WP backups
*FeedBurner Feed Smith - to redirect to your FeedBurner feed
*Google XML Sitemaps - generates sitemaps
*iRobots.txt SEO/other robot plugin
*Redirection - to manage your 301's
*SEO Rank Reporter - easy way to track your rankings
*WordPress Jetpack - alot of useful things
*Thank Me Later - nice plugin to engage people into discussion
*W3 Total Cache - to speed up site
*WordPress Popular Posts - to show popular posts (you can probably have this option in your theme too)
*WP PHP Widget - you can put php/html in your sidebar to display properly.
*WP Smush.it - reducing imgs weight
*Disqus or other commenting system if you dont have built-in one.
*Contact form plugin if you dont have this built-in.

5. QUALITY CONTENT! The whole Web need to be based on this.

6. Social bookmarking, pin 'greenies' to Pinterest, you can post to 9GAG something etc.

7. Do guest posting/commenting in your niche

8. More content, make some videos too

9. Search for affiliate programs (I love Yerba programs, nice amount of cash and easy to get customers). This is great niche to start with affiliate programs.

Probably I will tell you more later, because I have some new medicines and fel distracted.
