Whoever can give the best "rags to riches" success story gets the coupon.
No b/s, no method explaining, just a story, a true story.
Let the posting begin.

Just saying, those vouchers are with like $1 so don't expect an essay :)

I used to live with my mom in Tottenham a widely known area for gang violence crimes in London, England. I was in college at the time and learned about a site called Thomann.de its a cheap studio equipment online store. I set up my own site and started selling their products for RRP Turned a huge profit within the first 4 months. Hope you liked, AlexJamesDean

if you give me this coupon, hopefully i can turn into a success story. need a coupon to test out a method i found here.

Started my first website here with absolutely no knowledge on a $1 coupon for GoDaddy, used blogger as the hosting. Made $3,000 through that site, within the first year, which cost me one dollar.

Now I'm onto bigger and better things, but a (What is it?) 3000% profit margin is nice :D

I was a poor guy. One day, I found a wallet with over $30,000 in it. I became rich.

Hope it's good enough :)

Another thread just today gave away 19 of these, just for posting in the thread. My rags to riches story is that I realized how much of my time I waste on crap that I really don't need, when I could get the same crap with a whole lot less effort somewhere else. The End. Can I have $100 cash instead of Ad-Words credit? Thanks.

I know their not worth virtually anything.
Had two motives for doing this -
1) to give away the voucher
2) to help motivate the people that read the stories.

I know their not worth anything, but I never use them, figured I would help a fellow bhw member out.

@AlexJamesDean
How's the studio and all been working out for you?
Still turning a profit?
Either way it's knowledge and promoting entrepreneurship.

@motzart
First off - nice name, Motzart and Beehtoven are my favorite as far as classical music go. Symphony no. 9 is a personal favorite.
3000% ROI is very nice.

One thing for everyone to remember "Knowledge is power".

A story thread? Why not, I guess I could share something:

I used to got down the route society had paved for me - school, find a 9-5 job and life like a zombie.. I thought there had to be more in life, so I started out looking for ways to increase my income, qucikly finding out that the internet was the ideal place for that. Tried this and that, lost a few hundred bucks but never my motivation. I did "this" as a side job, made about $50 a month with AdSense and stuff like that.

Back in 2007, around the time I registered on BHW, I was sitting in class at a university, studying business administration. I wasn't paying attention to the professor, but instead was playing with the numbers of a recent campaign I had run, scaling stuff up in my mind. The number that I came up was around $8.000 a month. I was shocked. I calculated everything again and again, but still:
Eight. Thousand. Dollars. Per month.
So I thought "I have to do this right now!", got up and walked straight out of the lecture, right past the professor. Best feeling in the world.

I never came back. It turned out to be a little less cash, around 5.000/month, but that was more than enough to get me hooked. It did not last long, only a few months (blackhat at its best ;) ) but ever since I have been making my living on the internet.

Have seen ups and downs, made six figures, spent it all, made nothing at all for a certain (recent and horrible) period but now I'm doing okay again.

That's the short version of my story, hope you like it.

PS: I'm not saying that anyone should quit there education - having no backup at all and losing your online inome is really serious trouble. I was young when I quit university, probably would not do that again.
