How are other forums copying BHW threads and posts?

Ya, I believe I've seen copies from Best Black Hat Forum also. I can see how there's an obvious interest, that's why people are duplicating. I know people do this on many forums, but it was interesting to see it from BHW also.

You could advertise your own SEO/black hat products on the site. Or maybe adsense.

I've always thought it would be kewl to have a forum basically building itself while you boost it. You could have a massive site when feeding it that way. Im going to look into it. Maybe that webharvy thing you were talking about, or the scraper.

I've never tried using a private forum to bust my site's PR yet , But I would imagine it to be a grate way too move up in the serps and generate unique traffic for products and adsense earnings. I'm working on learning to build auto generated forums but even with the right tools it's still hard and takes a lot of time.

So along these same lines..

I always wondered if it would be possible to grab content from bhw mix it with content from DP and say.. WF and some other places for the hell of it based on keywords and post it to a blog as single posts.

Does content from multiple sources mashed together=unique content?

hmm, content mashed together=unique content. That's a fun thought, but I still think it just raises your uniqueness.

BUT I see massive sites feeding off others. AND they're doing great in the serps. This will be on my list of things to figure out.

Ya, BigKapp, figure it out! :) Maybe you'll get moved to the Executive section ;)

I agree , It doesn't take much to pass copy scape. And I've seen tones of sites rank for keywords with "mashed together content"

Well it is known that some news aggregator sites without original content rank pretty well...maybe the same logic is
applied here. Furthermore, if some parts of content are out of bound at original source and are exposed at place of reproduction
than G certainly sees that as original content. In some fringe scenarios (forums, user comments) copying could work well.

If you ask G search to find something, like for example thread with certain title, it still needs to fill SERPs with something. Have you noticed when
you have searches that result in cloned results find, that SERPs consist of few links of that same content and warning that other findings have been omitted.

By mixing content sources from various forums, your content is still perceived as a copy, but retains some legitimacy to be shown in SERPs. That doesn't
mean that when you search for more general topic, cloned content is taken into consideration.

What is reality? Are we real? Do you ever feel like bits of data scrapped and then pasted
in a world of markup language and code. Oh wow I need to stop watching the Matrix by now :P

Ya, and if you can get your forum indexed quicker, you receive credit for the content, that would be wild. Google usually finds forum posts quickly tho.

lets say you want to know about something and you have created the thread in BHW. Now you also have other forum's account so why not put the quay in the other forums too? would you write it again or put the same words like the other thread??? :P
simple.

most forum software allow you to import via rss...not sure if BHW has rss feeds or not...but I'd be surprised if they didn't.

People steal posts and ideas from other forums all of the time and share in another where they haven't seen it posted. This gets them rep and thanks for helping people out in another forum.

They are all copy cat and go wrong. This people clearly lack ideas and assume that success is in identity.I see no reason why I should try to be like someone 100%. We all have our differences, weakness and strength, attempting to be what you are not is the beginning of failure.

I've seen this done before, and I've also seen it done with Yahoo Answers. How do these sites end up ranking in Google?
