Hey Guys!
This is my first post on BHW.
Right now, I am rather new to internet marketing playing field and I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on how to promote my affiliate links.
I've been dong some reading and so far these are the main methods that I have seen on the forum for promoting affiliate links.
1. Youtube : Make a video and then possibly use some software to drive traffic to it, put your affiliate link in the description. Only question I have here is how do i 'cloak' my affiliate link in Youtube? Like so its not the ugly Clickbank hoplink. My temporary solution is having a blogger site that just says "This site has been moved" and then automatically redirects the people to my affiliate link. Any suggestions on how to fix that? I tried HTML but Youtube doesn't display it. Also, any other general tips on getting views?
2. Post on Craiglist: Pretty straight forward. I could not find any tools that can auto-post, anyone point me to one?
3. PPC: Not ideal since you're paying to get paid.... but atm you can get 250$ of free google credits! (http://www.google.com/ads/250/v.html) So i used that to pretty much outbid my affiliate manager since their agreement does not restrict it. Any better alternatives?
4. Post a banner in your signature
5. Send out mass emails to your email list: This would be great but I don't have one. Anyone know where I can buy one? Or is anyone selling one?
6. Write articles and then submit them to article sites, include your affiliate link. I actually have a program that submits your article to 150 directories and I have not actually done that yet. Is it a good idea?
7. Social bookmarking: I'm really new to this. Essentially I would assume that it wold require submitting an article to Digg or something and then getting it to go viral. Is there any software that can "digg" an article for me? Does anyone offer "digg" services? Or am i missing something here?
8. Outsource: ?? I understand the concept but would I basically just assign them the tasks i mentioned here?
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. As I said I am new to affiliate marketing and hope to make some profit there. Thanks a lot guys!
