Clickbank email marketing?

Hey,

Quick question, say you do not run any websites, and you plan to promote a product simply by email marketing or offline methods..

How does clickbank view this? do they allow it?

If they found out you were sending out mails to promote a product would you get blacklisted from there site?

Would you happen to know any good email html templates? Or someone who does this and would consider working with me?

Well how do you contact your list? Are you with an Email Marketing company like AWeber or Constant Contact? I use AWeber, which provides a lot of good tools including templates. As for your list, are they opt-ins?

I dont think clickbank cares even if you are spamming. That is not the case with the law though. If you get caught you might get heavily fined. I may be wrong though.

You don't have anything to prove to Clickbank if you can get sales. The only people you need to prove yourself to and avoid breaking laws with is your list. You just have to be sure that they WANT to receive your newsletters, that's when the opt-in process comes in handy.

If you're sending out emails on your own, be sure to follow the laws of the Can-Spam Act.

What amount of sales would you expect sending out to lets say 500 emails at a time, with it being a very well targeted list?

Maybe 3-4% will buy if it's very well targeted and you have a good relationship with them.

Yep, but 3-4% of the percentage of people that open your email (I think the average is among 10-20% of the total email sent), so probably 50-100 of your 500 subscribers will read your email, and you could expect from 1 to 4 sales.

what if those are not opt-in mails and you're not the one sending the mails to them( using someone to send those mails for you ) , but the mails have links to your products , can this cause you troubles in law?

They will close your account if they receive complains about your email. At least it happened to me in the past. It was one complain and they emailed me saying that if they receive another one my account will be disabled.

The email addresses don't have to be opt-in to be can-spam compliant, as long as the emails are not scraped.

Sending emails to purchased lists is perfectly legal, again, as long as they are not harvested addresses.

blast the hell out of that affiliate product, it doesnt really matter if you are doing blackhat or whitehat mailing or if the list was built by you or was just scraped. As long as nobody complains then you have no problem

but it would be better if you have built the list yourself and you mail whitehat so you wont have to worry about anything
