I received a review copy from the old thread and just saw this one come back up. The VPS was set up very quickly and the speeds are indeed fast. I haven't had a chance to use it to it's full potential just yet as I've been crazy busy with a few things in my personal life, but it looks promising!

I also own this VPS (Lite package) and I must say that it works really good. ugjunk is really helpful and can help you online with skype. Ticket response time is about 3 hours which is good for me.

Didnt have to wait long for vps setup. Fast speeds. Had a question for tech support, they answered the ticket right away. Im using Lite. So far im only running no hands seo and a shoutcast server. This is my first vps and from what I can tell its the best bang for my buck atm. When I make more money from this Ill probably upgraded to one of their higher tier vps.

I bought 1 VPS too.....works like a chram. Hosting some of my SEO tools and getting really good speed.

one more solid review for powerup. I grabbed a package from the old thread and it got setup in about 4 hours (in the middle of the night nontheless) and speedtest on it showing between 300-500 mbps. Happy camper.

I got the Plus package last week and as everyone has already mentioned the speed is great. I have add that the support is really top notch. I had an issue accessing the VPS a couple days ago and got prompt explanation from the ticket system and the owner took the time to contact me over Skype later to explain what had happened and to make sure I didn't have any other issues. just wanna post my quick review of this vps service so far... I have been with them for about 3 weeks and the servers are super fast, had to contact support once about learning to connect to RDP and response was fast (about 30 minutes)... i have ran speed test which go to the high 600 MB up to 900 mb per second which i didnt even know was possible!

Excellent customer service for the numerous PMs between UG n me. All doubts are answered. Purchased the lite version and will run senuke and another backlinking tool. Will post here again for the outcome

I've ordered a VPS from Power Up hosting like 15 days back. Here is my review ..

"I've got a 1 gig vps with 10$ lifetime discount. I should really thank the OP setting up a discount campaign. Internet speed on the server is AMAZING. Speedtest results are a little wired for some reason. So I've decided to show some actual download speed I'm getting while downloading a huge file.

I am given the full admin rights and no restrictions on it. I am backed on a 10 gig internet connection which is awesome. I am able to install all my tools without any problem and they are running on their pace with the Super fast internet connection.

The only problem that I've faced is the rdp is a little slow. I dont complain on it for I've choosen 1 GIG ram server and probably I should go with more RAM to support it. I'd rate the VPS 4.5/5 for the amazing speed I get."

My 2 cents ? quick review.

I've bought the VPS from the first thread, so I can some experience with it now. It's the Lite package ? 1 GB RAM.

Let's get straight to the subject.


1.Setup time ? 8/10 ? it took about 6 h to get my machine running. It is good for me.

2.Support enquiry ? 9/10 ? response time for my ticket (via poweruphost website) was 3 hours. That's ok, but I've also contacted the host via this forum. Ugjnuk caught me immediately on skype and we worked through my problems. Great thanks for that ? and score 9 ? close to perfection.

3.Internet speed ? 9/10 ? it's 1Gps, man! I can't saturate the link with 3 scrapeboxes! I can confirm the speeds shown by other users. Be careful with testing: the results may vary, because speedtest.net is using different servers.

4.Hardware specs ? 6/10 ? I've got 1 GB of RAM only. It's not fault of powerup hosting, but my decisions of course. If you want to buy the VPS consider buying more RAM. It's the best upgrade you can think off. With 1GB 3 instances of scrapebox are close to max. If you scape big lists only 1-2 scrapeboxes will run at the same time.



To sum up: final score is 8/10 and I can surely recommend powerup hosting.

Consider getting more RAM than 1GB and have fun!

Their customer service is top notch , everytime i contact the support, they replied within 5min with solution for me. When im having issue installing some software on the server , they arrange a timing with me and log onto it to see what's the issue im having. RECOMMENDED!!

Support :10/10 - OP always answer all my question via PM and Skype. Really excellent support.
Speed : 10/10 - Perfect! Speedtest.net show me the result between 300- 500Mbps . That was very fast!

Recommended VPS Hosting!

One word for my experience with this VPS provider so far- WOW.

VPS was setup in about an hour and the support blows away anything I've experienced with a hosting provider before. The VPS is blazing fast and extremely responsive. While the VPS I got from these guys at $89 is the same on paper as the VPS I had with xsserver for $95 per month, using this VPS seems at least twice as fast.

Overall 10/10 from my point of view- PLEASE keep up the awesome support!

I needed an extra vps quick. My current vps has been slowly acting up. Talked to them on Skype and in 21 minutes flat, I had my vps. I said 21 minutes and you can quote that.

It is fast, I'll add my software there in a few to see exactly how fast. I would recommend this simply because of the speed of implementation.

I got a Hyper-V PRO package from UG and I must say this service rocks!

He set up my VPS in less than 3 hours which is really impressive. The server itself is pretty fast and internet speed is amazing!

OP helped me transfer my files from my old server to the new one by teaching me how to use filezilla to do that (yes, I'm that dumb).

Overall, I'm very happy with the service so far even though I haven't used it for long enough. The price is pretty low compared to other hosts offering the same kind of VPS.

I've been a customer now for... 3 weeks or so, just wanted to report back. They did some upgrades last week and the speed of the VPS jumped tremendously. A+ from me.

All my vps got deleted by gigenet due to I used scrapebox on all of them . My business were going to be down , luckily I found this service , after 1-2 hours wait on skype I was able to chat with Jeremy - System admin , he helped me a lot with my custom order , bring to me all I needs and everything I wanna to test he accepted .
I haven't got any good support like that in my life as an administrator lol . The support is awesome and the service quality was also more than I thought .

After almost a month of having my Windows VPS, I just had to come back and post an update. Things have been great, have had **0** downtime and ugjunk can ALWAYS be reached on Skype. Not only that, but he goes over and beyond your typical average Hosting support.

I had an issue with a SEO software and he went in, took about 30 minutes to try and resolve it on his own hill - w/o me asking him to do that (he did ask me if he could look into it tho, so he didn't just login w/o asking first). What kind of better support can you ask for?!?

I got the Hyper - V Lite Plan for a few days ago and i love it so far!
OP has setup my server in less then 20 minutes and answered all my question and supported me with some IM tools as well in no time at all.

8GB RAM with 1Gbps connection, and yes the server is really fast. tested with speedtest.qwest.net 500-650MBps. what a pretty fast speed!!

I purchased the Hyper-V Pro plan with the current config:

3.2GHz Intel Xeon E3-1230 (4 Cores)
4GB RAM
140GB HD
1GBPS Port

This thing is fast! It scores an 8370 on Passmark which is more than enough for running intensive SEO programs. I am able to run XRumer no problems with around 800 to 1000 LPM on a scraped LinksList. For those wondering, 4GB of RAM is plenty; I have yet to go past 40% RAM usage.

I plan on running Scrapebox and XRumer side-by-side along with many other programs such as UD or AMR. Therefore, I needed a powerful server. The network speed has been incredibly fast and I have yet to notice any issues. The CPU is definitely the bottleneck for the 1GBPS port...If you want more than 1000LPM on XRumer you will definitely need a more powerful server (as if this isn't fast enough).

PowerUpHosting on Skype has offered unmatched support and has addressed all of my questions and concerns. The server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 which is the newest and best Windows OS installment for servers. I was kinda confused about purchasing the server, as i have to run the software in like 100+ threads, I contacted OP on the skype and we had around 20-30 minute conversation and OP did reply to my question every time without any hesitation and finally I made a decision and I got the server, I ordered the server and within 1 hour I had my New VPS ride.

The speed of the server is blazing fast, Normally I have something like 600Mb Download / Upload which is quite high. If you are thinking to get the something that is fast then Poweruphosting is up for you. One thing I would like to say is that the support is top notch, I don't know when OP really sleep lol. A little review about the software, My BMD task of 1000+ submission was done in less than 30 minute which is not a normal thing, With previous VPS It was taking a lot of time something like 3-4 hours. With Wiki poster Software the best turn time i have got was 50 minute for creating account on more than 10000 websites, The proxies I used was not well quality, I bet it will reduce if you have got some good proxies.

Note that I use the Wikibomber, Scrapebox 2 multiple instance, BMD and AMR on the same time and this thing works really well.

I got the vps from the contest.I am from the country where download speed is around 5 mb which is quite low infront of USA people so this VPS got no Delay even a single second like i am using my own PC. Speed test was showing download speed around 550-600+ mb speed and uploading 400 mb that is quite epic for me.The service has been great and there has been virtually like no downtime.

I've been using the Hyper V Lite package since a few weeks now and I guess its about time I left a review in the thread.

Pros -

1 - Extremely fast setup. In fact, I had the login details delivered to my inbox in 9 minutes flat after ordering. Cant complain about the delivery time, eh?!

2 - Stable VPS. No downtime till now.

3 - Considering that I am located in India and the VPS is in USA the packets have to travel to and fro from one end of the globe to the other there isn't much lag when I am doing stuff on the VPS. Its just as fast as my other VPS located in France.

4 - Stable speeds

You checked them on the wrong server location. Your VPS is located in Phoenix so make sure to do a speedtest check with a Phoenix testing server.

Also, please note that Phoenix testing servers on speedtest.net doesn't supports 1000 Mbps testing servers.
