GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

I am very confused. You just said that it won't crawl your website in your early post and you thought it was a bad idea because it would crawl all your pages like your privacy statement etc. So if it already crawls your website to backlink to all your pages then how do you do it? Thank you in advance for the information.

GSA doesn't crawl your website automatically. Whatever url you put in will be the one it links to.

If you want to make links to your whole website, you have to go to your campaign, click edit, than click crawl online. This will make the program crawl all your websites pages. From there you can individually remove the ones you don't want.

OK, Now I am understanding! Thank you for the clarification...

Due to an issue with an other software, i had to use GSA to straight up blast some aa blog urls (about 100K), and it reported a number of 'already parsed' messages despite having no duplicates in the list, and the 'avoid posting url to multiple...' option deselected.

In total it posted about 60k, which is good, but not the best. I wonder why it came up with already parsed? Is it because it logs server errors such as 404 and skips them or something?

Not really an issue because its not my primary tool for blogs anyway, but a very useful fall-back none the less.

Oh and regarding the captcha solver thing, using BDC alone without CS or similar, i can burn though $100 a day easy enough when doing blasts, so its certainly has value, and one produced by this outstandingly responsive developer would be a huge bonus, and something i and many others would pay handsomely for. Integrated captcha breaking is the only thing separating this amazing software from xrummer, a well respected software 5 times the price, with worse support (unless you are russian i guess) and a monthly service fee.

Nothing at all to do with being a cheapskate.

I have my Linklicious account set up in GSA but I can't tell if the links are getting pinged. In GSA there is only a space to enter my username for Linklicious but no password field. Also when I check my Linklicious account to see if my remaining links for the day are going down, nothing changes.

How can I tell if things are working as they should?

I'm having problems with GSA taking a while to post links to my website(s). In the log, I see all these "download failed" text in red. Don't know what that means but I also don't know if it's working :P Please provide insight on this.

Also, when I click the directory submissions checkbox, there are some textboxes I need to fill out right? Why does it say "Description (German)" or "_____ (Polish)"?
I'm only getting problems with "German" and "Polish" on there.
Thanks for looking in!

Most likely your proxies are dead or to slow to download the homepage within the time frame.

Thats because these are text fields for german and/or polish directories :DRight click these fields and disable the engines for that type of directories.

Just use the forum search. CI was discussed multiple times. And no, it is not as good as CS atm.

$27 that should have been better spent on beer imo
I wont say my true feeling about being mug enough to buy it
I dont even have CI installed on a pc anymore

Okay, that seemed to fix it. And what else do we have to fill out for directory submissions?

Btw, for the proxies I'm using the vanilla scraped proxies that GSA has in the "configure" window. Is there a problem with using these proxies or can I just use other public sources, like Proxy Multiply?

I'm looking to buy VPS for GSA Search Engine Ranker. What VPS are you using and how much is it cost ?? Also I would like to know how GSA is preforming on particular server.

Would be rally happy to hear from you guys...

Thanks,
Kris

You just need to fill out all required fields. If you see a field available, make sure and fill it out.

Public proxies are always going to be slower and bring down the success rate. You can scrape and add whatever sources you want but private proxies or semi dedicated proxies will be a lot better.

We actually partnered up with a VPS company because we've been PM'd and emailed by so many people asking which VPS company to use. I'm running the Hyper V Plus package here: http://poweruphosting.com/windows-vps-server-gsa-customers/

I'm sure there are other great VPS companies that other users might suggest as well.

Ok thanks, I'm thinking to buy Hyper-V lite do you think is it good enough for 10-15 campaigns ??

This is one of those rare software releases that definitely exceeds expectations. I have a suggestion, hope it's not been mentioned already it's easy to overlook things in a 40+ page thread.

How about having a cloud database to store the questions asked on forum sign ups and then automatically enter them when encountered (feature should be capable of being turned off and on)?

So if GSA encounters the question for the very first time, "What Color Is The Sky?"

You type, "Blue"

and the registration is successful it will automatically save and then populate this answer for all users of the software.

If the auto-populated answer fails it would then retry and prompt for manual input.

I'm sorry man, and forgive me if this is Rude.

But the two questions You have recently asked would have taken you about 10 seconds to search.

When the same questions are asked over and over and over it does nothing to help this thread except fill it out with and again sorry but useless posts.

There's also video's out there that answer all these questions etc. etc.

You can learn as much as anyone on this forum by simply doing a little searching and a little reading. It'll actually benefit you in the long run.

On the Hyper V-Plus it can handle at most 16 campaigns depending if you use all the Platforms or not. I have 5 Hyper Vplus Servers and 16 is about the max each one can handle with 100 threads and running CS.

With this i'm already pushing the server at a 100% Almost all the time.

It's suppose to strip out the code for platforms that don't support it but of course its hard to get every type of platform. If you can PM me some of the URL's that aren't supported I can send them to Sven so he can fix them.

The software already does this but it isn't cloud based. I do believe Sven can see the answers and add them in updates for everyone. I'd have to ask him about the cloud idea.
