Hi to all the domain geeks on BHW,
I am planning to start a new website for which I need Aged domain with some PR if possible.
I just want to know how to find such domains. Where should I look for. Is there any resource or place who sells/which comprise of some good information like domain age and its PR.

I have many domains but till date I have only purchase new domain only.
I know there are some people selling such domain with fake PR, I do not want to fell in that trap also.

Any kind of tips are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks,

justdropped.com didn't work for me for some reason.. though I registered there but there seems to be some problem. I will check the expireddomains.net.
But how to find a good domain?

Don't forget to check PR before buying, it can be fake.
Just type in google info:domain.com, if you see different site in search results then PR is fake.

You look, filter and sort the lists. If someone was to tell how to find them now, he would get the domains himself.

I am not asking any particular name or a gold mine. I am just a newbe (in aged domain purchase) who wanna find a good domain name. There are thousands of domain expiring and being deleted everyday, nobody would go and buy all those domain names instead of telling me.

If you ask someone how to do SEO, it does not mean that rather than telling you they should go and do SEO for themselves.

This is a community where we help each other.

Cool Mark, nice site, Are they all ones which will be sold at auction? Surely you would make more money noticing them, buying then listing on flippa . com or something?

Heavydutynames.com
I also have a BST
More domains are coming soon! :)

Edit : just seen that you have an aff link on heavydutynames to godaddy, must be your source of income ;)

I am not sure if one can be successful selling domains on flippa, I believe it is a good place to sell websites only.
However we are going to introduce a new approach: Buy Now listing with Offer.

I a not looing for EMD's I just want a good domain for one of my project. So I just want to know where and how to search for such domains.

From the Expert of buying dropped domains herself LBrown.

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...gh-google-page-ranking-domains-backlinks.html

Be sure to give her some thanks for the share. She knows what she's talking about. I use a bit of a different method but her method is sound.

Good luck and although it's a risk with the PR, if you follow her guide closely you'll typically find after you build them and Google indexes them the PR will return. Not always but it's a good gamble.

Check out Go Daddy auctions. I am sure you will get what you are looking for.
I know a guy who has got 2 PR domain in just $13. They charge 5$ as membership, but totally worth it.

godaddy auctions is the best place, I think you can use feshdrop to find them

Is there a way to get the goDaddy drops without losing the indexing in Google? Godaddy takes out the content after the name expires... All the domain names I have ever bought seem to be de-listed by google by the time, I get the domain.

Checkout Namepros or Dnforum which are specials in Domains .

Hopefully you will get yours .

i prefer you to check domains at DP and eBay auction there the prices are so cheap and you can easily and fastly communicate with the sellers . Godaddy auction is very slow and not so good as per my experience. I also purchase more than 5 year old domains and three letter .net might be sell in this month.

Not really, Where did you see my affiliate link? I am not even using their affiliate program.

That is no easy task. Some time ago I found out that one of those expired domain services store their data in csv files. So what I did was a script that downloads their latest database, converts it into a mysql database for easier sorting, looks for domains with high pr or alexa rank and emails me the domains 3 times a day(a cron job). However it is still no easy job since a lot of people are sniffing around for those and even with my script I'm extremely happy if i get one domain in 50.
