Alright, my project was to a URL from Squidoo. It's a lens I made on there with a unique article and linking to my money site. I'm trying to social bookmark it with GSA.

Problem is, I've checked one of the links on the side (Green ones) and it shows this:

http://www.sitespeedlab.com/squidoo.com/

This means it posted a backlink for Squidoo? Not my Squidoo lens?

That looks like a stat site which offers very little value if any for SEO. Some only allow submission of root domain. I wouldn't worry about that. If you have "post to competitors backlinks" enabled you will end up with a lot of those. That's why I usually leave this unchecked a long with indexer, referrer and pingback since most of those links don't offer much value.

So you have the indexer installed as well. The SEO indexer is a separate program by GSA. If you have them both installed and had the indexer running with GSA SER you would see the links being sent to the indexer in the indexer window.

If you don't have the indexer installed then you aren't really getting any benefits from the indexer. You can just uncheck the indexer in that options menu. Your sites will still get pinged via the built in pinger.

Green link = d0follow
Yellow link = n0follow
Grey = Redirect links where the link instantly redirects to your site (not much value)
Red = Stat sites that just show stats about your site but don't have any real link value

If you click the help button and click "view manual" you can get some details on this stuff. It covers the basics in a .pdf

What blog platforms are support by "General Blogs"? I see a lot of these actually working and I'm wondering if CaptchaSniper supports any of these "genereal blog" platforms. Please elaborate.

did anyone figure out a way to change existing identified site lists naming type from [name].txt to [type]-[name].txt (the actual files themselves)? i want to change the naming convention style so it is easier to import into projects per engine based... at least until sven gets a chance to check on the bug of why projects dont use the identified site lists for posting to (it seems it does post to the verified site lists only)

lol! silly me for doubting sven's future thinking abilities... it seems to my (happy) surprise that SER is already smart enough to change the filenames for u!! just change the option in the settings -> advanced -> File name format and sometime during the middle of the night when the toothfairy is running around, it magically changes all the filenames! now THAT makes it easier to import into projects by engine (until sven gets to look at why projects dont use the identified site lists)

Check to see is your website is black listed in any of the anti spam lists.
If your not getting many blogs shown chances are thats what happened

There are plenty of directories that don't require manual verification. I usually uncheck any German platforms anyways.

But its not correct that gsa signs this links as verified... maybe sven should change that or find a way to verifiy them truely...

I gave GSA SER a trial for a couple days and thought it was really well made. This is a great tool I'll share my feelings on it when I take for a proper non-trial spin. Hopefully I'll start seeing some results I've had an enormous pain recovering from penguin. I really hope this will help me diversify that anchor text enough to finally get my rankings (and cash flow) back. At least finally something seems to be using Captcha Sniper to its full potential!

I don't know if anyone else is getting this but, right now I have 80 submitted links and 85 verified links. Is it weird to have more verified links than submitted links? I'm doing only one project btw.

There are way too many general blogs to list but it can probably comment on pretty much any type of blog platform that has a comment field. If it doesn't support that platform, Sven could add it easily but most platforms are covered. I've even had it post a comment on about.com pages.

Open "GeneralBlogs.ini" in your engines folder and read the "Search Terms=" and you get a clue about which blogs are supportet.

Sven will be back on the 6th.

The captcha solver was just an idea for a potential future product but nothing has been set in stone with that yet. There are other ideas too so we'll have to see what happens in the coming months.

I would LOVE to see a captcha solver from him. GSA has incredible support and is constantly updated. A captcha solver that had the same would be a huge success. The main problem i had with captcha sniper and captcha infinity was that its rarely updated.

I'd prefer not say anything because that stuff is so far in the future that its really not worth mentioning.

When Sven gets back there is a lot of updates people want with GSA SER + the platform trainer so users can begin teaching the software new platforms. A lot of updates ahead before even starting on anything new.
