MASSIVE list of link building techniques! (15 Easy Post-Penguin Link Building Methods)

Really there is no "social bookmark" ? hmmm...

Do you think social bookmark isn't safe? :)

Man, I never got a site to rank well BEFORE this G update (being a 16yr old Noob that I am)
and it seems things just got rougher.
Since legit blog commenting seems like the only one of these I can do, where do you recommend getting these blogs to comment on from? And when placing the comment (on WP for ex.) do you use the keyword you want as your name for anchor text, or does it not matter?

BTW, really appreciate all this info!

Great post. However, i have one question which might sound stupid: do you create a 2nd or even a 3rd tier of links for those you have mentioned above?
Thanks

I would be interested in your opinion here, too, especially if we take into consideration that many people are suggesting that
google is now paying a lot of attention to social signals.

Legit blog commenting is fine... just be sure the blogs you comment on have a limited number of outbound links. If the other comments have outbound links, at least make sure they are not to bad sites. As for anchor text... diversity is key. Start with building links for the domain name, no anchor text, click here, visit the site... then once you build a good base of natural looking links, work on your main keywords. Guest posting is another reall good way.

Used this list to help refine my current campaigns, thanks party.

One thing I can contribute is the use of Video sharing sites, as well as .doc sharing sites.

Good idea. I didn't really think about those, they just slipped my mind. I'll add them next time I make a list! Thanks!

Very good SEO guide.
One thing to always keep in mind when creating a new site is:
In this order...
1.) Try to buy an existing site with reputation
2.) Existing site with no reputation
3.) Buy a new site (will take longer to get good ranking)

Friend I have one question. I submitted few guest post and I do social bookmark using my regular social bookmark sites with regular accounts. So is it good or bad thing?

nice explained your link building techniques to as im already following few of your tips to my sites

OP, really solid advice, mucho gracias for posting this thread.

It's funny you mention Scoop.it, we were looking at starting a bunch of these for our sites as well. Seems to be an excellent platform for getting started. Has anyone else used it here? There's also CustomScoop, a bit pricey, but looks really good for those with a larger budget.

Fantastic post. From the little that I know, all those methods look great. Thanks bud...! :)

I was just using this thread today to find the suggested paid site review blogs when I realized that I forgot to thank PartyNeon. Another quality post bro, I always look forward to them.

Haha. I'm glad that you enjoyed the post. I'm working on an additional 10 methods in the near future, I'll be sure to keep you posted! Doc Shares, Local Press Releases, Niche Blog Comments, Slide Shares, Youtube Links...

Great thread PartyNeon [:

Can you please go into detail about press releases..
After you write a press release do you submit the same exact press release to multiple press release sites or do you submit a completely different press release to them?

Also, do you have any tips on making your own private blog network?
Do you think Google can read past private Whois and determine the website owner? Should I get friends to register domains to be safe or is it unnecessary?

Thanks

From a technical standpoint, I tend to be very white hat. Mostly because I have a team of people that makes white-hat possible. Most one/two person teams have to rely on black hat methods. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to compensate and help promote these "Gray" factors! (Its safer, and they DO work) haha.

Cool list! I've been submitting Web 2.0 articles with SeNuke X but haven't really seen much results.

Whats been working REALLY good is PDF submissions.

I uploaded a plugin to one of my sites that I gave up on and was in the 200's in Google. The plugin automatically goes out and makes PDF submissions to popular sites like Scribd, etc.

This was about a month ago....

Currently its on the front page of Google.

Im pretty happy with the results :D

P.S: The site was an autoblog :P
