Can youtube ban me for this?

So here is the thing,lets say I upload a music video of an artist that is very popular with all rights to the owner etc..and put an adfly link to lets say a music website(legal) will my video/account be banned by youtube?

im not sure do they ban you instantly, but i guess they are atleast going to give you some sort of warning and remove the video

YT will ban you for anything they want. What may happen is your video will be reported and then taken down. Then you can put it back up on a new account and start the whole thing over again. Have fun

Make a new Channel and uploa your vids there. Use it for only music vids. Also, YouTube will usually delete 1 video and warn you before they remove your account.

Why are you trying to point to the artist? What you're doing is blatant copyright infringement, you get 2 chances (technically 3), YouTube is gonna see the video and remove it and give you a strike, get 2 more and you get banned.

On another note if I download YT videos and then just cut some parts of it and re-upload it am I gonna get in trouble?

Youtube has software that scans a videos content as you are publishing it. Chances are they will find the copyrighted content and give you a strike before it even has a chance. Some people get around this by speeding up or slowing down a track.

I once loaded Lady Gaga lyrics on a video. I followed Lady Gaga Vevos OWN instructions. She released a video telling fans what they could / could not use in videos and she allowed a certain 4 tracks to be used and also stated lyrics videos were ok. So I seen an opportunity to get views and made one. Youtube scanned the content before it even uploaded and I was given a copyright strike.

If you keep doing it you'll get an IP ban. And unless your savvy with proxies then dont waste your time.
