I've applied for CJ's paypercall program, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried making robocalls and transfering warm callers to the call centers.

I have an email in to CJ to find out if there are any advertisers that will allow voice broadcasting as an ecceptable form of promotion, but haven't heard back.

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I have a complete voice broadcasting platform set up I use for another lead gen business, and I'd like to test the method with some offers, but I'm not sure if any advertisers allow it.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

i am also interested in this.
i know that some pay per call advertisers accept call center traffic, and some dont.
some advertisers say "Only incoming calls where a person takes initiative to call. Calls generated from outbound calling of any type (e.g. call center) are not accepted."

but some also allow call center traffic.
the best thing to do is contact the advertiser.
but, most advertisers will probably only accept leads where the person literally dialed the number, and not just press 1 from a voicebroadcast.

Yes always check with the AM on these issues or you could get the ban hammer from them.

Thanks. Funny...I sent you a pm prior to seeing your response to my post....so I guess disregard my pm.

Thanks. It's unfortunate because voice broadcasting can be used to target very specific prospects (small business owners for example....I wouldn't use it to call residences) with a very specific message. Of course, the advertiser would get some hate calls, as well, but I use voice broadcasting in my lead gen business and it works great.

yea, i know. voice broadcasting can be effective if you go about it correctly and filter your lists.
and yes, i am sure that the advertisers would definitely get some angry callers haha.
if you don't mind me asking, what type of lead gen business do you operate?
i used to do phone broadcasting for my network marketing businesses but it didn't go too well because my lists sucked.

As long as you cover your bases you are fine, guidelines have to be followed. Calling residences is out of the question, it's just a pain in the ass and to many regulations.

Most voice broadcasting companies will make you pay per lead and or build the data cost into your cost per minute usually billed on the 1/10 of a minute.
The data they used is already beat to shit and 7/10 transfers will be "take me off your list". "why do you keep calling" etc etc

If you are using your own data you will still get transfers that are bullshit you will need to screen each transfer then decide what to do with it.

Thanks for the in-depth response, but I already understand how to use voice broadcasting, the metrics, etc. I have a platform, and I operate a lead gen service already, and I know how well it can work. I wanted to know if anyone had any experiece with it already with PPC. What I'm learning from other research is that it is not really an acceptable promotional method.

I thought that was illegal in US and UK, Am I wrong?

I don't know about the UK, but in the US it is illegal to broadcast to residences (with some strict exceptions). However, it's not illegal to broadcast to businesses as long as you follow certain guidelines. I broadcast to thousands of businesses on a daily basis.

Let's just say that I target small businesses with a very high margin service (pays $xx,xxx for a successful transaction). It's a very long sales cycle, and average success rate is only about 20%, but the potential ROI is massive. Yes, unfortunately many people fail with voice broadcasting for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, you can have the perfect list, a great product, a compelling message, and a strong call to action, but if you don't have a solid margin in what you're selling, voice broadcasting probably won't be cost effective.

I've come to the conclusion that voice broadcasting probably isn't a viable option for PPC....unless you can apply a serious creative twist.

I did a test voice broad for a CJ pay per call offer today....

1,000 calls to a targeted market (B2B, not consumer)
Compelling message with a good call to action
Used connect to agent option to connect caller with advertiser

Results - CJ blocked me at the conclusion of the campaign faster than tick on a dog. I think one of the call recipients complained to the advertiser's call center.

Back to the drawing board.
