hi, so i have a website ( a real company site - not a mns) that was ranking real well for many keywords on 1st page of google. the words are not ultra competitive. then in the past few months things have drastically changed. all my keywords dropped AND hardly any of my keywords are ranking for the homepage but rather the inner pages. i have edited each page (it isnt a big site) multiple times, altered h1 tags, etc...but still have yet to even rank the homepage. i think the homepage only ranks for like 1 keyword. i really need help with this. i am a wits end. the homepage seems indexed, and i have not done any real super aggressive link building, i have not gotten any warning messages. hard to say if this is a penalty, penguin or panda. so i please help me! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i am at a complete loss as to what to do. its the 1st time i have ever experienced something like this. i am not an amateur and would like to think i know what i am doing - but i have been battling this for 3 months now. please advise.

if you'd like to see the site to help better analyze please please pm me and i will send it to you.

any help is appreciated. thanks

Hi, if you want to PM me the site, I can take a look at it. It's difficult to speculate without looking at it.
Thanks

oh, one other thing i noticed. when i type in site:www.mywebsite.com or one keyword i know its ranked for and click the site via googles search it only brings up a cached version of the page from june 20th NOT the changes ive made since or the actual live page. it only shows the cached page. weird.

So using site:mysite.com shows it indexed still? What about when you type "mysite" and "mysite.com"? Without the quotation marks of course.

My site is doing the same exact same thing as yours. But I got the warning.

a warning only shows up if your website has been penalized manually. If it was penalized algorithmically, it won't show a warning.

try to mass link with your url in the anchor text

example, use these as anchor texts: www.yoursite.com, click here, yoursite.com

Do this type of link building for a month or so.
The idea is to balance out the bots, so they dont penalize you for unnatural linking

yes, it still shows up when i do it both ways like that.
again, the weird thing is that when i type in the site or click it via google search it shows only the cached version from a month ago not the current page. why is that? thats strange...that and the fact that all keywords dropped and arent back or are only showing inner pages

ok, so nevermind about the cache issue. however, my site still isnt ranked for homepage...only inner:)

PM me, I'll take a look for you and get back to you with some suggestions
