social bookmarking+pinging

Any advantage by doing the following..
Bookmarking your site..
Find the public url your bookmark appears on..
And pinging it.?
Or is it assumed that google finds the decent pr /do follow sites anyway and will find your bookmarks/url set to "public" anyway.??

Do you mean to ping the url of the social bookmaking domain rather than your actual domain?

For example,
say your blog is "myblogX.com" and you go to your own blog and click on the "digg this" chicklet.

Then once digg.com creates the webpage:
"digg.com/url_with_bookmark_about_your_blog", then you submit that url to pingomatic?

I'm not sure people understand your question. maybe thats why no replies.

My advice ping everything you update . If I answered a question on yahoo answers I made sure to ping the url. I ping the url of my bookmark and the rss feed. It only takes a few extra seconds to run it on ping0at.c0m or through bl0g blaster.

I was talking about bookmarking my site..
I was referring to the page of the bookmarking site that was public.
.ie not a private bookmark url...that showed my domain url/tags etc..
And if I should ping that public page showing my title/url/tags etc..
