Okay, I've said this time and time again. Search button, USE IT. You should go with buying Scrapebox and scraping lists of high PR, low OBL, blogs that you should manually comment on. Also, the best type of backlinks are DIVERSE. Meaning, every type you can get, get it. Web 2.0s, social bookmarks, wiki links, social media (facebook, pintrest, twitter, all of them), press releases, forum profiles.

Your best backlinks come from high PR sites, however, sites like YouTube or Yahoo Answers are no-follows so you won't be receiving any SEO juice from those. Those are best for gaining targeted leads.

Your best backlink strategy is to find websites that are within your niche and have them link back to you, whether it be blog commenting, guesting blogging, relevant forums, etc. Google sees that if other authority sites within your niche helps you out, you become a higher authority in their eyes as well.

Additionally, methods like guest blogging is great publicity for your site.
