Hello

I'm in Brazil and I have some site here. I received email from google about unnatural links on my sites. The big problem is that I can not ask for my sites that have links to withdraw, because I have contacts.

Is there anything I can do to bring this site again for the top positions? or I lost the site?

Please help me, this site is my source of income!

Thanks for all.

We've detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site that could be intended to manipulate PageRank. Examples of unnatural linking could include buying links to pass PageRank or participating in link schemes.
We encourage you to make changes to your site so that it meets our quality guidelines. Once you've made these changes, please submit your site for reconsideration in Google's search results.
If you find unnatural links to your site that you are unable to control or remove, please provide the details in your reconsideration request.
If you have any questions about how to resolve this issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forum for support.

Well you are even lucky I think, I don't really know if you are using Adsense on your site also. But they banned me straight away without a warning. I made a new apply to Adsense but I doubt they accept me again. Good luck with your site though.

The issue is forums!. Remove all the links in forums, that's what i did, and send google a detail message.

You are on the BHW! If you don't like blackhat techniques, you are on the wrong place.

If G catch you, find a new way to fool it. that's what blackhat is about!

Work on removing the bad links and focus on building high-quality links from relevant sources. Submit a reconsideration request when you think you have made significant improvement.

for one of my sites i had the same message from Google, we didn't do anything and the rankings didn't change at all. I am wondering if sending in a reconsideration request will have influence on your rankings at all.

Well mate bad bad news! You will receive a drop in rankings soon. Google is flip flopping and trying to cover their asses, but youll see a drop in rankings like hte rest of us.

So as everyone else say, you need to clean up your links big time! Remove all bad links. That means sign up for all backlink checkers out there and compile a list of your backlinks. Then comb through them looking for the really obvious artificial links. Then begin getting those removed. If not then you wont recover your rankings.

There are two tools that I know about that will help you do this too, well actually more service than tool. One is removeem.com, they have software for like $400 bucks to help you manage the link removal process. But again you need to do it yourself and this is only the software!

If you dont want to do it yourself there's another service thats popular on here called linkdelete.com. They charge for link removal requests and handle the whole process for you. you can check them out and see what you think.

umm i also heard about one more but forget off hand maybe someone can remind me.

good luck though- this is a long uphill battle

If you have already built a lot of links to this site. Register a new domain and start again. Trying to recover these penalised sites is a fools errand.

Hmm I haven't heard about these services, mainly because I spared myself going through the whole process. But it's good to see some people monetizing this whole process ;)

It seems that Google is serious about cracking down on unnatural links. The fact that they have sent out these warning letters shows they have the capability of monitoring your sites.

There are two schools of thought in dealing with this.

One school thinks that this is a phishing strategy of Google to get the source of unnatural back links. That is, If you feel guilty then you can write them a letter detailing these. Google can then use the information gathered in their favour to put on more stringent measures against such.

The other school of thought is to abide by their rules. To reply to their letter regardless whether you think you are guilty or not. To clean up your act before you get penalized. If you depend on Google for your websites you better tow-the-line otherwise you might end up losing what you have worked for.

Good luck to all!

The issue is not with forums. I have been using them and so far I have not got any warning messages.

Apparently the last round of email warnings from goog was a broad generic warning. If we hear about people getting the warning again, it could just be a 3 month sweep. The earnings report for goog came out last thursday.

I wouldn't do anything that Google asks. Just continue to build good links and try to avoid bad links ;)

A lot of help is on this thread. Because I am seo expert and doing this so this information is very helpful for me. Thanx.
