I have had a site on a much more lucrative niche which would have suffered similar fate(i mean the whole page was buggered with ads), but i entered the SERP with an "obvious-twist"
If it is a product/service, offer Unbelievable prices/Discounts ... on the Title. Even if they're are not true.
On the description put up a catchy 'trailing' description. Give away an interesting bit and trail it, it works.. but the title part works most.
What niche is that?

It's just too sad. I was too excited about the site when I started working on it. It was meant to follow the "rent a space" model where firms pay me for listing their site on mine. The services the firms offer have a starting cost at $5000 up to $30000 and I was thinking of charging them something like $500-$1000 per month once the traffic starts pouring in. When I got #1 I thought it was just a matter of time.. and I got crap.
Now mistake learned but I have other sites with profitable keywords that are not page 1 yet that I believe will be having the same problem.

Yeah, it's in a buyer state of mind but the product is an offline service and it cannot be ordered online. It's almost like looking up lawyers in New Jersey.

Check Google Insight search for last 30 days or last 7 days. Its not that the keywords tool is always right. I once targetted 22k keyword and to my surprise it was a 60k keyword luckily. It can be other way round too.

The click bomb/automate suggestion was beautiful. It's also how blackhat marketers can deal with Google stealing hard-earned real estate and putting up their shitty, spammy ad-sense ads. Fuck those ad-words buyers hard enough, and they'll start paying for organic results.
Maybe click-bombing is the next big paid blackhat service (and not negative SEO like everyone says).

I sold the site and got bit more than $50 for it which I consider to be good since there isn't any potential if you don't do PPC or social media advertising.
I need to research this click-bombing thing for next projects. What I'd like to see is the following: I mass click the ads, the advertiser loses money, google refunds him, and the advertiser stops using the platform. I want the advertisers to rely on organic traffic, so that way I can either sell them SEO services or have them pay to be listed on my site.

The great thing about this click-bombing is, once the concept goes viral, advertisers will jump ship (hopefully they'll mass migrate to Bing/Yahoo). Think of the damage to Gs rep.
