bulk mail/ spamming to build your list?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if those of you who do email marketing, if you use spamming or bulk mailing to build up your list? I've got a sales funnel for a free guide and i'm in the process of sending out a blast but its just not that targeted.
I'm also wondering if any one has had success with the companies that will blast out your email to there list size of like 5mil or w/e.
I want to try to advertise my free guide on ad.fly but not sure if I should go with that or with the 'blast out email to 5mil'

Any advice or tips? Or maybe free methods that will get me amazing results?

If you use a .com I would read this:

Spamming is wrong, build a list. There are plenty of guides on that in the forum. You could actually make money on the freebie while giving it away. With that you build your list and even then you don't spam. I could be wrong of course, feel free to ignore as you see fit.

Yea, I tried them last night and right after I got approved my add got disabled cause they said my site has malware/virus/and some other thing...
I have no idea how my site could of picked those things up. But I did get some traffic to the site, just no actions taken, that also could be because my squeeze page tho. Im about to re-do my offer make it better and make the squeeze page better.
